Title: TNA's Terror Dome
Description: Is it patterned after AAA's Dome?

I noted this in my review but wanted to post it here. The "Terror Dome" showed by TNA on last week's iMPACT appears to be similar to the dome used by AAA in Mexico - I've seen the dome on their pay per views. Did anyone else notice this?

There's the video about it. I must say, I really hate TNA's production crew. Their graphics and writing for these things piss me off. They always have a line like: "A structure/person simply known as ____." The Terrordome graphic had me laughing, because it doesn't look the least bit terrifying.

I really think they need to hire more production people just so we don't get such repetitive videos.

TNA used to have THE best promo videos. The ones for Sting when he was coming back to fight Jarrett (I think...when he came back looking all in shape and with the red in his face paint...?) were phenomenal. Still, they have a long way to go to match the WWE's promos which, even though I can't stand the promotion as a whole, are fabulous.

If it is used the same as in AAA, no one will come out of the dome unscathed. Unfortunately, TNA has a tendency to put the skids to any great match. I'm trying to figure out why they suddenly thought they needed some sort of new gimmick. Have the ratings dropped that much on their ppv's?

Didn't WCW have something like this, in early 2000? It was a little round cage/dome that fit inside the ring. Mostly used during matches involving Tank Abbott and Rick Steiner.

But it sounds like Terror Dome is the most dangerous foe... of TNAAAAAAA.

Because, let's face it, Elevation X f'ing sucks.

Scaffold matches have always been terrible. Making the scaffold look like an "X" doesn't help.

The Terror Dome match could be good, but I doubt it'll be the second coming of the early "Ultimate X" matches that they hope it'll be.

Dome matches, at least in AAA, don't have a thing to do with actual wrestling. It's who can bleed the most and survive falling off the dome from the inside and the outside.

I see it as a TNA disaster waiting to happen.

Well, the match ended up getting mixed reviews. It sounds like there were too many people in the match (basically they tossed all the X guys who weren't on the card already into it). Kaz won the match and ended up working the main event as well, due to Kurt Angle being too injured to perform (again).
