Title: I'm thinking about doing an EWR 1996 Diary
Description: on WCW 1996 with a few twists
Brian Pillman RULES! - April 22, 2008 02:01 AM (GMT)
My first post in this section, and the title says it all.
Here's the twists, and BTW, I'm hoping to get a tag team partner for this thing. So, just IM me at PaulTadd@msn.com, guys.
Here we go.....
1996 Four Horsemen line-up:
Ric Flair
Arn Anderson
Brian Pillman (and believe me, I promise it'll stay this way)
Chris Benoit
There will be NO Horsemen variation with Mongo. Plus, the famous nWo angle will still happen, and Ray Traylor will remain as his 93-94 babyface character, The Boss. (and Man, was he Big) Traylor retains his "Boss" character (hopefully) after the WWF lawsuit.
Anyone interested?

Well, I'm decidedly anti-fantasy booking...but I have to say that I'd be curious to see what you cook up. WCW was nuts in 1996, with everyone from Steve Doll to Devon Storm on the roster.
Oh yeah...plus "Z Gangsta". There's your next United States Champion, dammit!! And will you be bringing in Kevin Greene?!
Wasn't Traylor already two characters removed from being the Boss (Man, was he Big) in 1996, though? He became The Guardian Angel in late 1994, then snapped and went back to "Big Bubba Rogers" in 1995.

Well, I'm gonna try and cook up a backstory where Ray Traylor somehow managed to win the lawsuit case (or WCW, rather), and was able to retain his character & gimmick of The Boss. (Man, was he Big)
And yes, I will somewhat bring in Kevin Greene. lol

Although that means that there will no "New" Big Bubba. When he began wearing a floor-length duster in 1996 with the AWESOME slogan printed on the back: "Big Bubba: No Trubba".
Okay, so it was actually "No Trouble"... but who said THAT?!

Right. But, he'll still be The Boss, and wear that awesome black police uniform, and we'll still be able to "Respect The Boss", because Man, was he Big.
If I can't find a partner for this, I'll try and gut it out alone.
