Title: WWE 24/7 Headlocks & Wedlocks (Feb 2008)

"Shorties" has the long-awaited Wrestling Weddings! I know we've all pined for that....

The new WCCW episode is probably THE best one they've aired, so far. I thought they skipped ahead a few weeks, but apparently not. Jimmy Garvin, King Parsons and "The Man" debut. I'd forgotten how cute Sunshine was, too. Also a big 6-man lumberjack match with the VEs and Freebirds.

I think they sped up the updates for the shortened month of February. WCCW usually premieres the second week of the month.

Oh...and Cyber Sunday is available, too....

FUCK yeah. I've been waiting for that six man lumberjack match.

Although it's usually crap I'm really digging catching the WCCW shows on there, especially after watching the WCCW DVD they just released.

The 8/31/87 PTW had a great segment. The Bulldogs cut a promo about how Matilda's been giving them advice. They're here to prove she can talk.

Cut to a close-up of Matilda licking her chops and a dubbed over voice that says "headbutt, Dynamite!".

I almost shit myself when I watched that the other night. Hilarious.

Watched "Clash of the Champions (I)". Very watchable card and the crowd is into it, the whole night. They go nuts when Luger and Windham beat the Horsemen.

During a few commercial breaks, they have current comments from Rotundo, Windham and...Jim Ross. Ross decides to tell us all about the super secret history of the Fantastics and the Midnight Express. Ross says that the Fantastics were simply replacements in the feud for the Rock n' Roll Express. You fucking idiotic cockgoblin--- this might come as a HUGE surprise to you, Ross, but the Midnights actually did stuff that DIDN'T involve the RnR Express. Yup... this feud that they replaced the RnR's in had absolutely NO ties to 1985 in World Class, when the two teams feuded for six months and swapped the tag titles down there (sure, it was Condrey then, but you know what I mean). All hail Ross, Wrestling Historian.

Great McGoogly-Poop, I hate that egotisitcial windbag. I knew I should have editted out his comments while I was recording.

I'm glad you were pissed about that as well because I was thinking the same thing when I caught the Clash the other night. He's honestly a fucking idiot.

The 9/6/86 Boston Garden show was pretty good. Surprising, because Boston shows usually suck. Aside from a Perdo Morales/Rene Goulet match, the entire card was worth watching. Yes, even Corporal Kirchner vs. Harley Race was okay.

3/28/86 TNT was the all-manager edition! It seemed like they were trying to push Mr. Fuji (and Muraco) as comedy characters at this time. Which was a great fit, because that duo could be very comical when they wanted to. It's a bit surprising that Fuji never really continued on as a comedy character. From about 1987 on, they just focussed on his "devious" nature and the fact that he was EVIL. But on this TNT show, he shows that he can actually be funny.

There's also a fun bit with Roddy Piper training for his boxing match against Mr.T. Piper decides to chase ducks for whatever reason....so they show him at a park, babbling in full "Hot Rod mode" and chasing ducks ("woooah! heh heh..bye, ducks!"). Piper is frickin' awesome.

They're almost done airing a somewhat rare MSG card from 3/16/97. If you watch it, you'll be singing "We are the Nation" afterwards, as the Nation of Domination (and their wonderful theme music) cues up every other match.

We are the Nation....of Domination!

Nation...

of Domination.

Nation...

of Domination...

If only I would have seen this warning before I watched the show....

Iam the Nation of DOMINATION....dun dun...
