Title: Top WWE Jump the Shark Moments
Mad Dog - January 17, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
Something to get us talking for no better reason than we can. Here's a few to kick things off.
1. Fully Loaded 2000. Benoit, Jericho and Angle all job to the old guard in the ring. This of course lead us down the road of still having HHH and Taker on top today. Of the other three Angle was the only one given any kind of real time on top. This tends to get overlooked for the downfall of the WWE but I argue that this is what kicked off the company falling apart.
2. Katie Vick. No more needs to be said.

Sheesh, there was a "jump the shark" moment on every single episode of Raw in 2002.
I'd say a more recent shark jumping moment has got to be Cena's injury.
Mad Dog - January 17, 2008 03:21 AM (GMT)
Yeah, that really brought the wheels off of the WWE this year.

Really? I'm more into Raw than I've been in a while, and its all because of the Jeff Hardy push, which I'm pretty sure wouldn't be happening if Cena were here.
I still can't believe that Jeff Hardy is my favorite thing going right now. I still can't believe his ass was stinking up TNA just a few years ago.

I'm with you jamie. Can't believe I'm half way likeing Jeff Hardy.
THE jump the shark moment for WWF / E was the debut of the Undertaker.

WWE blowing a possible six month long storyline by having more or less the ENTIRE INVASION ANGLE happen in one episode of Raw.
Mad Dog - January 28, 2008 04:23 AM (GMT)
Yeah, that's a great jump the shark moment.
SamoaRowe - January 28, 2008 05:12 PM (GMT)
Yes, I remember that episode of Raw well. My brain was like "I think this is awesome, but something feels wrong" while my gut was thinking "WWF has just jumped the shark, it will never be as awesome as it used to be again."
