| Dark Match - The Nasty Boys defeated Dave Taylor & Drew McIntye. Smackdown - Edge & Vicki Guerrero were shown backstage. Vicki began to yell at Edge, then smiled and hugged him. Edge reveals that they have been working together and Vicki is proud of what Edge did at the Survivor Series. Vicki announces that Edge will face Batista on Smackdown next week for the World Title. Edge and Vicki then kiss. - JBL introduces MVP and calls him the greatest WWE U.S. Champion ever. MVP comes out and JBL praises him and the job he did on Matt Hardy last week. JBL gives MVP the United Nations ring which is a ring that looks like the U.S. Title. MVP puts it on and praises JBL who leaves. MVP then continues to rip Matt Hardy who isn't at the show. Rey Mysterio eventually comes out and tells MVP that what he did was wrong. He calls MVP a punk and MVP vs. Rey Mysterio is set for later tonight. - The Major Brothers talked about their match later tonight. - John Morrison & The Miz defeated The Major Brothers. - Vince McMahon talks to Finlay backstage. They talk about being Irish and loving to fight. Vince changes the scheduled Mark Henry vs. Hornswoggle match to Mark Henry vs. Hornswoggle & Finlay. - The Cutting Edge returns tonight with Batista as the guest. - Batista asked Vicki backstage why she did what she did. She says she did it because she loves Edge. - Kane defeated Big Daddy V by DQ. Matt Striker ran in at the end of the match with a chair. He didn't strike anyone but Kane grabbed him by the throat and the ref called the DQ. - Jesse and Festus put over the new John Cena DVD. - MVP defeated Rey Mysterio via pin. MVP reversed a hurricurana attempt by Mysterio into a powerbomb and then held on to the ropes during the pin for the win. - Finlay & Hornswoggle defeated Mark Henry. After the match, the Great Khali came out and he and Henry beat down Finlay. - Jamie Noble defeated Palumbo. - Torrie Wilson defeated Victoria. - The Cutting Edge with Batista was the main event. Edge is in the ring with Vicki and says that he has planned this for months. Batista comes out and tells Edge that he doesn't deserve the World Title but does deserve the beating he is going to get next week. He shoves Edge and then leaves. The lights go out and The Undertaker hits the ring. Edge runs off. 'Taker grabs Vicki and tombstones her. 'Taker then stares down Edge to end the show. - Vicki was taken off on a stretcher afterwards. Dark Match - Batista & Rey Mysterio defeated Edge & MVP. |

| The Nasty Boys (Jerry Saggs and Brian Knobbs) worked their first match for WWE in years in a dark match at the Smackdown taping last night. The match was said to be a total disaster. The Nasty Boys apparently treated the dark match as if they were major stars who just returned. They took too long getting into the ring when they came out because they kept interacting with their friends and family seated at ringside. Knobbs got in the ring with his back to the hard camera while Saggs came in and stood right next to opponents Drew McIntye and Dave Taylor, making them look stupid. During the match, the Nastys were stiff with McIntye who is only 21 and new to the main roster. He took the abuse for awhile but eventually started giving out his own stiff shots to the Nastys. The Nastys even worked stiff with Dave Taylor even though he is a respected veteran. Some blamed the Nastys match taking so long for screwing up the entire Smackdown taping, causing it to end at 9:54PM ET and giving WWE just six minutes to change the ring and set for ECW On Sci-Fi.
