You've probably seen the bogus MySpace bulletins and the rumor going around; but Gene Simmons is NOT dead. So yes, the news of Gene Simmons' death is BOGUS! One of the most BOGUS things ever done.

Supposedly, it was another guy named "Gene Simmons". An old rockbilly musician from the Elvis era (c'mon, WMD..educate us). Probably some overzealous fan mis-read the news item, thought it was the God Of Thunder and began posting it on the Internets. Oops.

Yeah, Gene is going to be on the Celebrity Apprentice this Spring. I'm actually kind of excited about that. I've been watching his show on A&E religiously

I've only seen a few episodes here and there of "Family Jewels". But I was cracking up when he was in Vegas, with a vibrator stuck on his hand and hanging out with Carrot Top. You know some of his antics are staged, but it was so freakin' bizarre to have all of those elements combined.

Same rumor went around about Travis Barker a week or so ago. It's stupid.

Gene's show is good stuff. His son Nick seems like a cool kid. Well adjusted.
