Title: Movies that define your childhood.
Description: Concept stolen from TSM.

So yeah, what movies do you think "defined your childhood?" The type of movie that if see it on tv or pass it in the store, it brings you back.
For me, what comes to mind right away:
Home Alone
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1-2
The Sword in the Stone
Dumbo
Bambi
Street Fighter
Star Wars trilogy
E.T.
The Land Before Time
An American Tale
All Dogs Go to Heaven
Better Off Dead
Batman
Batman Returns
Back to the Future
I'll add more as they come to mind. Please join in, though I'm a little scared to imagine what Scrooge might dream up.

Thinking of them in chronological order:
--Age 2---
Planet of the Apes
Jaws
The Jungle Book
Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Rocky
Star Wars
Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail
The Warriors
Fighting Back: The Rocky Bleier Story (made for TV)
Meatballs
Flash Gordon (1980)
The Jerk
Empire Strikes Back
E.T
Stripes
Road Warrior
Cannonball Run
Time Bandits
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Porky's
Rocky 3
Dark Crystal
Police Academy
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Ghostbusters
Conan the Destroyer
Terminator
Lone Wolf McQuade
Firewalker
Predator
Batman
Fanny Hill (a porno that we all "accidentally" watched on a Boy Scout trip)
Total Recall
Die Hard II
Pretty Woman (yeah, yeah...but when I worked at the theater, we'd always walk in and check out Julia Roberts' goods)
--Age 16--
Oh yeah, lest I forget.... "Jaws 4: the Revenge!!!" (just for Scrooge!)
I'd also mention "Secret of NIMH". I nagged my mom to take me to see it. So we ended up going on a school night-- something we never did. I thought it sucked, she didn't care for it, and I felt like a complete ass.
Some, like "This is Spinal Tap", "Mad Max", "Smokey & the Bandit", "Conan the Barbarian" and "Kelly's Heroes" were older movies that I didn't get into until I was 18 or older.
There was also some 70's movie with Peter Fonda and Hotlips from MASH, about running into Satanists in the backwoods. Gave me nightmares for years, so it was significant for that reason. "Dune" had a similar effect on me (the infectious flying fat guy and the heart-plugs STILL kinda' creep me out. Fuck you, David Lynch!).
