Fans, October was our greatest spectacular yet! But we are already gearing up November 2007, which will be the Greatest Month in the History of Our Website!!

Naw, for real. We set an all-time (okay, 6 month) record for unique visitors on October 25th, with 45. Plus on October 3rd, we had 43.

Furthermore, our Google Page Rank has jumped from "unknown" to "2/10". Good start, but I think we can get up around 4 or 5. By comparison, Google and Yahoo are 10's. My Crappy Website is a solid 4. My employer's site is a solid 5.

Anyways, all of youse guys's efforts are appreciated. I'm having a kick running the site. Go banana!

Yay! And, in honor of this success, I might finally finish reviewing something.

I'll probably end up reviewing the new Saul Williams release this weekend, since I'm not working, and I'm going to They Might Be Giants this Wednesday, so I'll try to do a write up of that show.

I'll be adding a recap of the 8/14/87 PTW, as soon as I get back from lunch and have time to find a picture. So look for that in about two hours.

I started a new review on Saturday, but got bored with it after an hour, so I don't think I'll end up finishing it. I'm going through a lull in my reviewing, I just don't have the inspiration.

Scrooge should get to work on something new :).

I've had an unfinished RoH Final Battle 2005 review for the past two weeks... might get done this week.

That sounds like a fun read. I got that show in the mail several months ago and I haven't gotten around to sitting down and watching it.

The review I started was Death Before Dishonor V Night 1. I was there live, so I was starting to feel that my ratings were too biased.

Well ratings are your opinion and it shouldn't matter what other people think unless they come up with valid reasons why they don't agree. So just go with what you got.

Perhaps once I get the show, I could do a review of it as well and see how well everything matches up.

And as far as my biased star ratings for matches I watched live, in the past I did a review of Backlash 2005 (which I attended) and about a year later I looked back on the ratings and I scoffed at them. I'd like to think that didn't happen this time around, because it's not so much that other people disagree with them, it's that with time I also disagree with them.

It's a gray area, but I kinda' envision "current reviews" as being stuff that was written while watching a "live" PPV or show. I'm not familiar with ROH's business model, but it looks like they re-air their latest show for 3 or 4 months?

I kind of felt weird for posting the last ROH show as "current" when it was six months old.

Alrighty, I see what you're saying. One of the reasons I picked that particular show was so that it could go in the current section because not much gets added there. Besides, the show is only three months old ;) and just hit DVD a month ago.
