Title: So, any wrestling in NYC next week?
Description: Vacation time!

So, me and my cousin are heading to NYC for a week on Monday morning? Anyone know where we can find info about wrestling shows WWE or otherwise, in the New York area while we're there?

No offense, but if you're in NYC and the only recreational activity you can find is wrestling... then I'm worried.
You might wanna' try searching MySpace for some indy wrestling. I searched a little bit for ya', but couldn't find anything for next week. Well, I found Jello Wrestling in Brooklyn... but I don't think that's what you had in mind.

Pro Wrestling Syndicate is running a show
near NYC this weekend. Don't know if that helps

Dear God man, I'm not going to NYC just to see pro-wrestling!

Why would it be sad for someone who really enjoys wrestling to want to see some wrestling?

Oh yeah, figured that. There's just so much to see and do in NYC that when I was there the furthest thing from my mind was: "I wonder where I can find some pro wrestling?"
But consider the source-- I go around the country taking dumps in baseball stadiums.

How long will you be staying? If you're willing to drive around 2 hours you'll have a lot of options.

There will be no driving, but we're not adverse to bus trips and that kind of thing.

Well here's something:

Saturday, September 15th - 7:30pm
NJ Convention & Expo Center
97 Sunfield Ave., Edison, NJ
Why you should go: the Barbarian is on the card.
Edison's about 15 miles southeast of NYC, proper. Depending on where you're staying, it can take about four hours to get out of NYC on public transit. The Staten Island Ferry is free and definitely worth using for us tourists. The MTA subway doesn't go that far, but a bus from New Jersey Transit (www.njtransit.com) might get you to Edison.
Or a cab, but a round trip will probably run you at least $100

I looked around. NWA Empire is running a show in Buffalo on Saturday. Just a bunch of no namers though. If you're going to be around on the 22nd and can get to Philly there's a Chikara show going on there.
It seems like everyone ran a show yesterday and won't be running till the very end of this month or early next month.
