Bronco Lubich
He broke into the business in the '50s. He worked as a wrestler, then a manager, then a booker, then a referee in the Texas territories. As a referee, he was known for being one of the slowest counters in the business. As a referee, he was known for get quite a bit of heat while managing Angelo Poffo and Boris Malenko. He, along with Skandor Akbar, taught Steve Austin in the early goings of Austin's career.
Awww man, I loved Bronco. His little 3 count taps as a referee were hilarious.
Honestly, I thought that he had passed over ten years ago.
