Hulk Hogan vs. Jerry Lawler on 4/27 in Memphis at the Mid South Coliseum. It would be the first time the two have wrestled each other in more than 25 years if there isn't the dreaded blown out knee in the next few weeks.

Should be interesting to see the kind of house this draws. And this is in indy because it's not a WWE sponsored event as far as I know.

Wow... I need to see this just for the sake of seeing it.

Mad Dog - April 1, 2007 07:22 PM (GMT)
You know even Hulkamania can't survive the Memphis rule that Jerry Lawler never loses.

Scrooge McSuck - April 1, 2007 07:27 PM (GMT)
It'll be a shmoz or Lawler wins by massive amounts of interference, both Memphis trademarks.

They could really do a decent number for this show if they actually fill the undercard with some stuff people would want to see. Maybe get a Rock N Roll Express vs. Midnight Express match as the co-main or something.

But Hogan never jobs either. He must be getting a good pay-out, or is doing this as a favour or thank you for someone.

Mad Dog - April 4, 2007 10:32 PM (GMT)
It could be a typical Memphis match where no one wins at the end.

We already know who the real losers are: the fans :P

Lawler and Hogan know how to work an entertaining match. If Lawler plays up the heel stuff and Hogan plays up the super-babyface routine it'll certainly be fun.

I'm sure the fans will enjoy it for what it is, but just imagining how this will go down makes my head hurt.

On that note, I really need to get started on my Heroes of Wrestling review.

Which one?

The second HoW is actually pretty fun. Not good, but Tully/Gino Hernandez is solid.

THERE IS A SECOND ONE?!? How come nobody told me before?

I'm pretty sure Scrooge reviewed both of them. They're both pretty bad, but the sequel is a marked improvement.

Talk to him.

What?! Tully wrestled a corpse?

Sorry, got it confused with the first HoW where he wrestled "Sweet" Stan Lane.

HoW2 featured Tully in a tag match with David Flair versus two other oldsters.

Oh, now I know the show you were referring to. I thought you were suggesting there was actually a show called Heroes of Wrestling 2.
