Title: The 2007 HoF Induction Poll!
Description: Vote for as many as you want.
SamoaRowe - March 21, 2007 10:06 PM (GMT)
Also please, if you vote let me know you voted. I need to know how many of us participate.
jamiegeist - March 21, 2007 10:21 PM (GMT)
Real F'n Show - March 21, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
SamoaRowe - March 21, 2007 10:48 PM (GMT)
One of you only voted once? Did you only think Vader was worthy, or did you miss the part where you could vote multiple times?
Real F'n Show - March 21, 2007 10:49 PM (GMT)
SamoaRowe - March 21, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I had a feeling it was Jamie.

TehDoct0r - March 22, 2007 04:19 AM (GMT)
jamiegeist - March 22, 2007 07:20 AM (GMT)
I only thought Vader should get in, out of that class, at this current time.
whitemilesdavis - March 22, 2007 12:05 PM (GMT)
I voted. And you bastards who didn't vote for Busa are sick.
SamoaRowe - March 22, 2007 12:30 PM (GMT)
Good participation thus far, this poll will be open through Saturday night before Wrestlemania.
Big F'N Swigg - March 22, 2007 01:40 PM (GMT)
I voted. HARLEY RACE 07 BABY!
Scrooge McSuck - March 22, 2007 02:11 PM (GMT)
Almost a clean sweep for me. Only Hayabusa doesn't make a strong enough case for me.
prof_plague - March 22, 2007 04:41 PM (GMT)
Damn, I forgot to send in my list. Well, voted anyhow.
Scrooge McSuck - March 22, 2007 04:56 PM (GMT)
(mad at the lack of respect for Tully Blanchard)
Real F'n Show - March 22, 2007 08:26 PM (GMT)
Hayabusa's easily the least deserving choice at this point, but I'm sure he'll get in eventually. I am also angered at the lack of Tully love. Same with Lawler.
dynamite kido - March 22, 2007 08:45 PM (GMT)
The fact that Tully isn't pulling as much love is nonsense.
Lawler on the other hand can go fuck himself.
Real F'n Show - March 22, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
As an announcer, yes. But as a wrestler he should definately be in.
dynamite kido - March 22, 2007 09:27 PM (GMT)
As far as I'm concerned.....even as a wrestler he can go fuck himself. Easily one of if not the most overrated in ring performer of the 1980's.
eStragand - March 22, 2007 10:26 PM (GMT)
No Sid?
BOGUS!
(and hell if I'm voting)
prof_plague - March 23, 2007 12:59 AM (GMT)
Vader has the lead. I'm not surprised, but I was expecting a tie with Race.
dynamite kido - March 23, 2007 02:24 PM (GMT)
Wow, only 6 votes for fucking Jumbo.
Are you guys seriously fucking kidding me here?
Scrooge McSuck - March 23, 2007 02:50 PM (GMT)
For the record, I voted for him, based on word-of-mouth, primarily.
whitemilesdavis - March 23, 2007 03:09 PM (GMT)
Only 2 for Busa? So who else was it?
Scrooge McSuck - March 23, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
Davey Boy has the honor of being snubbed two years in a row... do we follow the MLB 15-Year rule, where a person is dropped completely if he isn't voted in within the time frame? :P
eStragand - March 23, 2007 04:49 PM (GMT)
Probably...but just like MLB, even if you are dropped, you can simply have some hack reporter latch onto you and write whiny columns about you every year until you croack. "my favorite player isn't in the Hall of Fame, so I'll whine". See; Ron Santo and Goose Gossage.
Which is why I'm starting an "Andy Van Slyke should be in the HOF" campaign.
Scrooge McSuck - March 23, 2007 05:05 PM (GMT)
I think I'll start one for Don Mattingly. If Kirby Puckett get in with only about 10 seasons under his belt, then Donnie Baseball should. :P

Don't look at me, I voted for everyone.
My vote for Jumbo was part word of mouth as well as the enjoyment I've gotten out of his youtube matches.
Scrooge McSuck - March 23, 2007 05:59 PM (GMT)
How many votes does everyone need, at this point, to get in? (aka how many people voted so far)
SamoaRowe - March 23, 2007 06:12 PM (GMT)
Should be 70% of the votes, like in the past. At this point, I believe it means everyone with six votes is in.
I know that is technically not 70% but I would like some inductions. It'll become easier if ten people vote.
Scrooge McSuck - March 23, 2007 06:14 PM (GMT)
So who is the biggest snub of 2007? Of all the people with pretty much no hope, it's either Tully Blanchard or Davey Boy.
dynamite kido - March 23, 2007 06:32 PM (GMT)
Blanchard was worlds better so I would say that he gets the edge.
SamoaRowe - March 26, 2007 08:42 PM (GMT)
Everyone who is going to vote has probably already voted, but I'll keep this open in hopes that a few more people show up.
Spawnie Guy - March 27, 2007 01:38 PM (GMT)
I voted too. Vader is a beast. You should induct him with that photo of him falling down on Raw a couple years ago.
SamoaRowe - March 31, 2007 02:05 AM (GMT)
I'm pretty pleased with the participation. I'd like to think some more of the new peeps voted.
I have an insanely busy weekend coming up and start of the week, so I'll adding our new inductees to the HOF sometime next week.
Real F'n Show - March 31, 2007 04:56 PM (GMT)
Are we having another ceremony?

I'd like to think so, but I have two issues.
1) I'm really busy.
2) There is no way I'd ever be able to match last year's.
prof_plague - April 18, 2007 12:49 AM (GMT)
Are we going by seven votes as the magic number for people to be inducted? If that's the case, it looks like it's...
Vader [ 11 ]
Harley Race [ 10 ]
Terry Funk [ 10 ]
Owen Hart [ 9 ]
Bruiser Brody [ 8 ]
Jumbo Tsuruta [ 8 ]
And no love for...
Mick Foley [ 6 ]
Brian Pillman [ 6 ]
Jerry Lawler [ 6 ]
Tully Blanchard [ 5 ]
Davey Boy Smith [ 4 ]
Giant Baba [ 4 ]
Hayabusa [ 2 ]
