Title: Green Arrow Cancelled

I'm seeing on a few sites that DC has cancelled "Green Arrow".
I'm glad to see it go down, since That Shitty Writer Who Lived With a Gay Guy for awhile on an MTV show is a frickin' hack. Did you now he lived with a GAY GUY and would like to tell you all about how his experience with this GAY GUY opened his eyes to what a wonderful multi-sexual world we live in!
But on another level, it's sad to see GA get put down, because I'd see the book on the stands every week and think "gee, maybe Green Arrow will turn around". Green Arrow is a nifty character and there's alot to be done with him, but DC and that Writer have completely skull-fucked the character. In a way, the book just sold on the premise that Green Arrow always had a nifty costume and that the character had storyline potential.
If you think about...that's what ALL of DC's superhero comics are doing. They reel you in on recognition, history or promise of a character. Then do nothing significant.

They're cancelling it in favor of a Green Arrow/Black Canary title. They decided all of the recent Dinah character development wasn't necessary so they're getting married so Dinah can play a 3rd fiddle to GA and his little family.

I saw that rumor about the new title as well.... and I seriously thought someone was being sarcastic and joking.
Please tell me that the writer of this new title doesn't have the initials "J.W" and rhymes with "Pudd Linnick".
Please. Lie to me, even.

I'm fairly sure Winnick's done as far as a Green Arrow title.

Winnick said at Wondercon that he's done as writer. One of the rumour columns even stated that he quit - saying he had no interest whatsoever in writing a married GA book.
I'd lay money on the new writer being Sean McKeever, or Tony Bedard

Winnick's probably just having a temper tantrum because them getting married means he can't turn Dinah into a lesbo or drop her from the top of a building like he tends to do with every woman he gets his hands on. Me thinks the guy has some women issues.

Don't forget, he hasn't had the chance to turn her into a single parent with Aids, so that's weighing on his mind aswell.
Seriously, if I was the incoming writer - Page One, Panel one - Aids girl gets shot in the head
