So I recently got a few DVDs recently. I really enjoyed it. I liked the goofy gimmicks and the more lucha libre style. It was a little more spotfest than I like but they managed to keep it a little more entertaining than the usual indy guy does these days.

So what are you opinions on it?

Did you get newer stuff or older stuff? I think the company really hit it's stride in late '04-early '05. A lot of the guys I watched the promotion for like SUWA, Milano, and Kondo are now gone, while a lot of guys I'm not really big on like CIMA and Dragon Kid remain. I haven't seen a lot since an early '05 PPV, but the company is still pretty damn good. Yoshino and Genki are great.

The last one I watched was from April 06 and featured a really fun main event of Ultimo Dragon and El Hijo Del Santo vs. Atlantis and Black Warrior.

I haven't see alot of their newer stuff myself. I remember checking out a lot of the stuff that RFS was talking about and I rather enjoyed it. Although I must say that Ultimo/El hijo is an interesting team nonetheless. I'd watch that match for sure.

The only Dragon Gate stuff I've seen has been their ROH guest appearances, and I was impressed. I also like their animated intro tape on Youtube.
