-Dusty Rhodes approached Batista backstage. Rhodes warned Batista not to get overconfident with the Dead Man. Rhodes pointed out he was Undertaker's first opponent in the WWE, and wants to "guide" Batista to Wrestlemania

-In a "handicap" match: Finlay and Little Bastard defeated The Boogeyman (Finlay press slammed LB onto Boogeyman, and held both down)

-Chris Benoit def. Kane, Ken Kennedy and King Booker (Crossface submission)

-Theodore Long was confronted by Vince McMahon backstage. Vince said because he didn't like the ECW stars, he was putting Smackdown stars in a SD vs. ECW Money In The Bank Battle Royal at Wrestlemania

-Matt Hardy def. William Regal (Twist of Fate > Pin)

-The Hardy's nCon Paul London/Brian Kendrick when Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro ran in and attacked both teams

-Carlito was in the ring. Ric Flair came out and said he wasn't going to lower himself to wrestling someone who didn't appreciate who he was going to wrestle, or someone who didn't give a crap about wrestling. Carlito would, in fact, take on a wrestler, who Flair said, epitomised the character Flair wished younger wrestlers had. Out came Kenny Dykstra.

-Kenny Dykstra def. Carlito when Ric Flair hit Carlito with a blackjack, and Kenny put on a figure four leglock, and the ref called the match for Kenny. Kenny continued the assault after the match, and Flair called for someone else to come down. Chris Masters ran out and put Carlito in the Master Lock, and Flair low blowed Carlito.

-Eric Bischoff came out unannounced, and started deriding Hulk Hogan, and his accomplishments. When Bischoff said Hogan helped ruin WCW, Hogan Himself came out and confronted Bischoff. Bischoff called out The Great Khali, who assaulted Hogan, and, aping the famous angle from Wrestlemania 3, ripped off Hogan's Crucifix

-Torrie Wilson introduced her new Interview segment (and really, what else am I going to do with her), called Torrie's Bedroom. Her guests were Edge and Randy Orton. During this segment, Jerry Lawler got a fax from "The Boss" (which is going to be our new gimmick, replacing Coachman) and announced that Edge would take on Randy Orton at Wrestlemania for the Number One Contendership.

-Edge and Randy Orton def. Eugene and Jim Duggan. Orton did all the work, refusing to tag in Edge.Right at the end, Orton hit Eugene w/RKO, and Edge tagged in and quickly pinned Eugene

-Umaga and Armando Estrada came out and said that everyone was afraid of them. A video for Joe Seannoa played. Umaga went bananas

-MNM, Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro def. John Cena and Shawn Michaels when HBK accidentaly hit John Cena with a superkick and Nitro pinned Cena. Cena and Michaels brawled afterwards

ECW March 6

-Elijah Burke permanently replaced Tazz as colour commentator

-Mr. McMahon introduced his son Shane as ECW's new "Troubleshooter"

-Mr. McMahon introduced his "Apprentice" - Chuck Palumbo Trump

-Bobby Lashley def. Chuck Palumbo Trump in 10 seconds. Palumbo ran into a powerslam from Lashley, and got pinned.

-Bobby Lashley def. Snitsky and Hardcore Holly in a handicap match when he powerslammed Holly ONTO Snitsky, and pinned both.

-Marquis Cor Von and CM Punk def. Chris Benoit and Ken Kennedy when Vito struck Benoit with a kendo stick. Vito came out wearing a dress and started goofing around. When he got into the ring, Cor Von acted disgusted and Vito went to hit him with a kendo stick, but hit Benoit instead, and ripped his dress off.

- Test def. Bobby Lashley to win the ECW Title. Lashley fought off Palumbo, Holly and Snitsky, before Paul Heyman jumped out of the crowd and hit Lashley with a chair. He hugged Test afterwards, and raised the hands of all four.

- Torrie Wilson's "Torrie's Bedroom" was interrupted by Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin announced that there was a free slot in the Money In The Bank Battle Royal, and he intended to take the slot.

-Shelton Benjamin def. CM Punk when the "injured" Charlie Haas struck Punk with his crutch.

-Chris Masters, Kenny Dykstra and Ric Flair came out for their match. There was an apparant show of mutual respect between TWGTT and Team Flair.

-Chris Masters def. Super Crazy when Kenny Dykstra blinded Crazy, and Masters locked in the Masterlock. Dykstra started pummeling Crazy, and Carlito jumped from the crowd and attacked the heels, who retreated up the ramp

-A video hyping Joe Seannoa played.

-Joe Seannoa's debut never happened, as Armando Estrada came out and offered Joe his services as manager. Joe chose instead to lock on the Samoan Choke, which brought out Umaga

-Umaga and Joe Seannoa brawled backstage

-The Great Khali murderized Eugene. As Eugene was being carted out in an ambulance, Hulk Hogan came out and attacked Khali

-Edge and Randy Orton had a spat backstage over who would come to the ring first at Wrestlemania

-In a seperate skit, Shawn Micheals promised John Cena he'd have his back until Wrestlemania

-Edge, Randy Orton and Johnny Nitro def. John Cena, Shawn Micheals and Jeff Hardy when Edge pinned HBK after an Orton RKO. After the match, Shawn Micheals made good on his threat to superkick John Cena, and the pair brawled.

-Paul Heyman introduced the "Originals": Test, Hardcore Holly, Snitsky and Chuck Palumbo. Heyman said that placing his trust in men like RVD, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer and Sandman was what caused ECW to go bankrupt in the first place. He announced the Originals vs. RVD/Sabu/Dreamer/Sandman at Wrestlemania.


-Sabu def. Chuck Palumbo in 15 seconds. Sabu had set up a table at ringside, and, at the bell, Palumbo charged at Sabu, who moved out of the way, and Palumbo went flying over the top rope and through the table, and was counted out.

-Hardcore Holly def. The Sandman

-Booby Lashley and Mickie James def. Victoria and CM Punk when Victoria slapped CM Punk and Lashley powerslammed him

-Test def. Tommy Dreamer to retain the ECW Title when Dreamer picked a fight with Elijah Burke, who was on commentary. When Dreamer was suplexing Test into the ring, Burke jumped up and held Dreamer's legs, and Test fell on Dreamer and pinned him.

-RVD def. Snitsky. After the match, Vito attacked them both.

-Finally, Joey Styles teased a major, MAJOR announcement for Wrestlemania on Smackdown

- MNM defeated The Hardys in a non title match (Mercury pinned Jeff Hardy, Snapshot). Brian Kendrick and Paul London watched from the entrance way

-Vince Mc Mahon was seen entering the building. He went straight from the car park to the announce desk, and put a champioship ring on the desk, saying that the winner of the Money In The Bank Battle Royal would win it. He also said that all the participants would take part in a special challenge match tonight.

-William Regal def. Kane, when Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas interfered. When Benjamin protested not getting a challenge match, Mr. McMahon pointed out that he was a Raw Superstar in a Smackdown vs. ECW Battle Royal

-King Booker def. The Boogeyman. When Boogeyman's smoking stick starting smoking at random, and smoke filled the ring, a hooded figure came out from under the ring and choked the Boogeyman down, letting Booker hit a quick axe kick for the pin.

-Chris Benoit def. Little Bastard. Benoit treated the match like a joke at first, then quickly chokeslammed LB to end it without a fuss.

-Gregory Helms squashed Eugene. Eugene came out looking dazed from his squash at the hands of Great Khali, and started treating Helms like The Hurricane. Helms grabbed him and gave him a Vertebreaker to end it quickly. Eugene was taken out in an ambulance again.

-Chavo Guerrero def. Bobby Lashley when Vito hit the ring and struck Lashley with a Singapore Cane, so Guerrero could roll him up

-Finlay def. Mickie James after the Celtic Cross. Finlay, did not treat Mickie like a joke.

-Ken Kennedy def. CM Punk when Kennedy grabbed the championship ring and knocked Punk's lights' out.

-Brian Kendrick and Paul London def. The Undertaker and Batista when Batista accidently nailed Undertaker with clothesline, London and Kendrick dogpiled him, and Batista did nothing. Post match, Batista turned heel and smashed the crap out of Undertaker. At this point, Mr. McMahon got up from the desk, and said as much as he was enjoying it, he had an announcement. Vince announced that in the spirit of Wrestlemania 10, both Wrestlemania main events would have a special guest referee in the matches. He also said that while Raw wasn't in a position to name the referee for their title match until right before the match, Smackdown could welcome the referee for Batista vs. Undertaker. Mick Foley came out.

Wrestlemania

-In the opening match, Kenny Dykstra and Chris Masters def. Carlito and Super Crazy. Masters faked a knee injury, and while the referee was attending to him, Flair sneaked into the ring, lowblowed Carlito and locked on the Figure Four Leglock. While Carlito was incapacitated, Kenny came off the top rope with the Killer Kenny Legdrop and pinned him.

-Edge def. Randy Orton to become Number One Contender to the WWE Title when he defeated Randy Orton

-In an extreme rules eight man tag, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman def. The Originals (Test, Chuck Palumbo, Snitsky and Hardcore Holly) when Dreamer and Sandman delivered multiple cane shots to Palumbo and Dreamer pinned hin.

-Ken Kennedy won a 10 Man Money In The Bank Battle Royal, defeating Kane, Shelton Benjamin, King Booker, Chris Benoit, Greg Helms, Chavo Guerrero, Bobby Lashley, and Finlay.

-The Great Khali def. Hulk Hogan in a special challenge match. After fighting off Vince McMahon, The Big Show enteredt the ring, and he and Khali delivered a double chokeslam to Hogan, and Khali pinned him. When the pair continued their assault, a gang of cops (and Eugene) ran out and they fought the cops off, and gave Eugene a double chokeslam. Eugene was carted out on a stretcher again.

The Hardys won a TLC Match Over London/Kendrick and MNM to win the World Tag Team Titles, becoming double tag champions in the process. After the match they shook hands with MNM, but strangely, ignored London and Kendrick

Joe Seannoa’s debut against Umaga went to a disappointing double disqualification when they brawled all the way outside, and into the parking lot.

John Cena def. Shawn Michaels to retain the WWE Title. Chris Jericho was the special guest referee.

The Undertaker def. Batista to win the World Heavyweight Title

RAW

Running theme was the guest appearance of the ECW stars

-Edge came out as a guest on Chris Jericho’s Hi-Lite Reel to challenge John Cena to a match for the WWE Title. Randy Orton came out and challenged Edge to a rematch. Shawn Michaels came out and said that he wanted a rematch, with Cena. Cena came out and chose….no one.

-Jerry Lawler’s Fax Machine went off, and announced that there would be a fatal four way at Backlash

As Jericho was leaving, Kenny Dyktrsa came out got in Jericho’s face.

Eugene def. Kenny when Chris Masters’ interference backfired. So they bet the crap out of Eugene. Then, The Originals came out and further beat the crap out of Eugene, who was stretchered out. Test made an open challenge for the ECW title.

As they were walking backstage, Joe Seannoa came out of his lockerrroom, and refused to back down from the group

Joe Seanna def. Shelton Benjamin. Umaga ran out and they brawled

The Hardy’s gave a heelish interview about their tag team titles.

MNM vs. Super Crazy and Carlito when Khali came out and decimated the faces. He then assaulted Jerry Lawler

In a special 4 team elimination match., John Cena and Rob Van Dam defeated Edge and Chuck Palumbo, Shawn Micheals and Bobby Lashley, and Randy Orton and Test.

-Test CRUSHED Eugene, then gave him the F5 on the ECW Title. Eugene was stretchered out again

-Test had a go at Jerry Lawler, who was there as a guest of ECW.

-Vito def. Rob Van Dam

-CM Punk came out. The Originals came out and Heyman offered Punk a slot in the group. Punk turned it down. The Originals beat him up, which led to

-The Originals (Bob Holly/Snitsky) def. CM Punk/Tommy Dreamer

-Victoria def. Mickie James to win the WWE Women’s Title when Paul Heyman interfered on Victoria’s behalf

Smackdown

-Dusty Rhodes came out, and said he tried to warn Batista, but Batista wouldn’t listen to him, and that’s why The Undertaker beat him at Mania. Batista came out and beat the tar out of Dusty. Batista then introduced The Sinister Minister as his new manager.

-Paul London def. King Booker. Booker acted shocked after the match, and the thing was treated as an upset

-Chris Benoit approached The Undertaker backstage and said if he became Number One contender, it’d be cool, because he’s never had a match with Taker, and wouldn’t mind one.

-Helms beat Chavo Guerrero, Joey Mercury and Brian Kendrick in a fourway, pinning Kendrick when Booker came out and attacked Kendrick. After the match, Assley and Melina had a brawl

-Finlay confronted The Undertaker backstage, and said if he became Number 1 contender – Taker would be due a fight. Finlay turned around into Kane. Kane said if he became Number 1 contender, it’d be just like the old days. And liked the old days.

-In a Number 1 contenders match – Finlay beat Chris Benoit, Kane and Kennedy. Kennedy lay down and got himself pinned in seconds, jumping up and going backstage. Kane pinned Benoit and Finlay hit him with the shillelagh while he was covering him, and pinned Kane to win.

Undertaker was watching in the back, and Kennedy approached him. Kennedy showed his Money In The Bank Ring, and said he owned The Undertaker

Undertaker beat Batista to retain the belt, and move Batista out of the title picture

The Hardy’s squashed a pair of jobbers. Afterwards, Carlito and Super Crazy came out to congratulate The Hardy’s on their success, but Matt and Jeff turned heel and beat the crap out of the pair of them.


Joe defeated Test by DQ. Afterwards, Test got on the mic and accused Jerry Lawler of having a go at him, and Lawler came down and they brawled. Yes, Test vs. JERRY LAWLER.

Chris Jericho made another sporadic appearance on the show. Kenny Dykstra and Chris Masters popped up and had a go at him

Brian Kendrick beat King Booker after a flash rollup. However, on the BIG SCREEN, Paul London was shown in a pool of blood backstage.

Finlay and The Undertaker had a contract signing. Finlay threw Little Bastard at Undertaker and ran off. Undertaker chokeslammed LB through the table

Finlay did a straight interview saying he’d defeat The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Title

London and Kendrick def. Booker and Greg Helms, by a fluke roll up again. After the match, a huge guy in a bodysuit and silver mask assaulted Brian Kendrick.

In the back, London was protesting to Teddy Long, when the same guy assaulted HIM. Booker came to Teddy and said everyone should fear The Man In The Iron Mask

Ken Kennedy introduced a video reel of Tommy Dreamer. In the video, everytime there was something like a chairshot, Kennedy replaced it with a Batman esque “Splat”

Finlay started to come down the ramp, and then Steve Lewington and Dave Taylor jumped from the crowd and beat up Undertaker. When Taker was down, Finlay got in the ring and delivered a shillealgh shot to Undertaker

Ken Kennedy introduced "The Best Of Rob Van Dam". It was an entire video of RVD blowing spots, set to Benny Hill music, topped off by him jobbing to Melina.

King Booker def. Chris Benoit in a non title match when The Man In The Iron Mask interefered. After the match, King Booker introduced his Knights (KC James and Idol Stevens under masks)

London and Kendrick def. The Knights. King Booker and The Man In The Iron Mask tried to interfere after the match, but London and Kendrick escaped
