Title: Tempest McAwesome Presents The AFWL
Description: AFWL- Action Figure Wrestling League....

Tempest - January 24, 2007 04:22 AM (GMT)
So, much like Mr. Scrooge McSuck himself, I also play with action figures.

The AFWL is something I've been playing around with in recent times. Its not something that's an obsession of mine or anything, but the basic deal is I put on little action figure shows, write down results, run shows, build to Pay-Per-Views and just generally goof off. So, in short, don't take anything here too seriously.

Okay. So to properly start things off here, here's a look at my roster so far;

Steve Austin
Ric Flair
Barry Whendham
Mongo McMichaels
Terry Funk
Diesel
The Godwinns (Henry 'O and Phineas I)
The Freebirds (Michael P.S. Hayes, Terry Gordy, Buddy Roberts)
Chris Benoit
Chris Jericho
Lance Storm
Homer Simpson
Abe "Grandpa" Simpson
Apu Nashasapenpetalan
Michaelangelo
Diamond Dallas Page
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan (Hasbro version)
Star Gladiator
Doomsday
Whiplash
Mr. Perfect
Mini Mr. Perfect (The Hasbro version)
Big Bossman
Mini Big Bossman (Hasbro version)
The Iron Sheik
Nikolai Volkoff
Kamala
The Dudleys
Tommy Dreamer
Wolverine (of the X-Men)
Kurrgan
Psycho Sid
Sargent Slaugher
Duke (Of G.I. Joes)
The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty, Leif Cassidy)
Ken Shamrock
Shane Douglas
Mr. X/Tyrant (from Resident Evil)
Andre "The Giant"
The Rhino (From the Spider-Man cartoon/comic)
"Marvelous" Marc Mero
Bob Holly
Savio Vega
Earthquake (Hasbro version)
Typhoon (Hasbro version)
Undertaker
Edge
Mankind (brown/original WWF-debut look)
Collusus (of The X-Men)
Hercules (Disney's Hercules)
Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw
Lex Luger

I'm bringing in guys pretty regularly now. I'll soon be crowning a new tag-team, six-man tag-team, and heavyweight champion(s) this Friday night at my first big PPV.

The Results so far

QUOTE
January 17, 2007- AFWL Superstars

The New Horseman deaf. The Godwinns/Homer Simpson

- As you would imagine, this match was somewhat of a sqaush. The New Horseman (Whedam, Diesel, Funk) all make relatively short work of Homer/Godwinns. Its a pier six brawl to start, Homer flies through the air charging and sending himself as well as two members of the opposing team to the floor from the stage.

In the ring Whendam is able to hit a superplex on Phineas for the win.

Kamala deaf. "Marvelous" Marc Mero

- In an effort to build Kamala as a legitimate monster (think Umaga presently) I had him completely annihilate Mero. Kamala kicks out of all of Mero's high impact moves, and entirely no-sells the TKO. In the end Kamala nails the African Spike (thumb to throat) and gets the splash for the academic three count.

Nikolai Volkoff/Iron Sheik deaf. Michaelangelo/Shane Douglas

- Let me explain the pairing of Mikey and Shane here. Mikey started off his career as an extremely over singles guy. At the same time Tyrant and Shane Douglas were competing as a relatively successful tag-team champion team. But, when Douglas went down with a bad injury the champions were stripped of their titles. In a battle royal including the Tyrant, the two remaining competitors would wind up being tag-team champions. Mikey wound up winning it at the end becoming Tyrant's tag-team partner. At first both men were reluctant but they soon jelled. Since then Douglas, Tyrant, and Mikey have been somewhat close as partners and allies.

Onto the match; Douglas is the worse for wear here, with an injured ribcage. He wrestled Tommy Dreamer as a favor for Paul Heyman the night before and his ribs took a nasty beating and now he's pretty banged up.

The match starts quickly. All four guys trade a bunch of really high impact stuff. About halfway through the match Sheik spears Douglas in the ribcage knocking him through the ropes.  Now Mikey gets seperated from his partner. Sheik drops him on his head with a half-nelson suplex and Volkoff gets a hangman's neckbreaker for the shocking win.

Stone-Cold Steve Austin deaf. The Rhino

- Short match; The Rhino controls for a bit. Austin gets a lowblow, hits a Lou Thesz press, whip, kick, stunner. Over.

So yes, clearly I'm not really trying to develop any angles here. Although the seeds of a Douglas/Mikey vs. Sheik/Volkoff feud is certainly brewing.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were unhappy being held down by the glass ceiling in Scrooge's fed, they have relocated :)

And HURRAY, a NEW diary!

Tempest - February 16, 2007 01:14 AM (GMT)
Some New Stuff: I've developed enough angles to keep myself going for a while. That's why I haven't been updating a lot of stuff recently; because a Fantasy promotion is really boring to read about without any angles to go by. So continuing from my last post.

Of course, as is the case with the WWE (yeah right..... :D ) I've got a rather strong tag-team division. So, my first order of business was to crown a Six-Man Tag Team Championshp Team.

CVC deaf. The New Horseman

- In the first round of the tournament The Canadian Violence Connection (Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm) were able to oust the New Horseman (Terry Funk, Barry Whendham, and Diesel) in what has got to be considered the AFWL's first ****+ match. Benoit and Jericho (as well as Storm) took it straight to the heels from the outset, Benoit's tenacity in the opening moments grounding Diesel. As the match wore on Whendam and Funk continued making frequent tags, working over weak-link Lance Storm. Finally the Lancer was able to make a hot-tag to Benoit who hit the ring and absolutely cleaned house. Eventually, after Storm and Jericho each hit stereo planchas to take out Diesel and Funk respectively, Benoit countered a superplex and fell into a Crossface for the tap-out win.

The Foreign Fanatics (Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Kamala) def. The New Triple Threat (Shane Douglas, The Tyrant, Michelangelo)

- This, shockingly quick match was actually also quite good, as in the ** range. The Fanatics eliminate Douglas early, when Kamala hits his Air Africa splash. Michelangelo's offense is nerfed on the big guy, and a top-rope back-suplex/hangman's neckbreaker combo finishes off the Tyrant.

The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, Buddy Roberts) deaf. Homer/Godwinns

- The quickest match of the tournament. Homer and The Godwinns control early with some mostly punch-kick offense, The Freebirds eventually take over, work over Henry Godwinn for a while until Godwinn fights back only to have the Slop-Drop reversed with a lowblow and a Terry Gordy DDT for three.

Archangel/The Rhyno/Doomsday dq'd against The MJC (Marc Mero, Bob Holly, Godfather)

- The three monster heels take it to the Miracle Jobber Connection, beating Mero severly from the matche's outset. Mero's peppering lefts and rights go completely unsold as he eventually makes a comeback by running up a wall and hitting a surprise moonsault on all three of his opponents. Mero connects with a NASTY top rope TKO before tagging in the Godfather who runs in only to get triple-teamed. Eventually the heel's mauling offense gets them disqualified due to over triple-teaming.

Also:

Disney's Hercules deaf. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan in a sqaush. Duggan hit a bunch of punches, a bunch of clotheslines and a Three point stance. When Duggan tried a second one he got scooped up into a powerslam (DR. Death style) for three.

The Brood (Edge, Christian) deaf. Marvel's Mightiest (Massacre/Whiplash)

- Good quick paced match, almost recalling something from TNA's X-Division. In the end Massacre counters an Unprettier into a double-stomp to Christian's head only to get speared by Edge for the pin. The first ***+ tag match in AFWL history.

So, set for the next show. The Canadian Violence Connection wrestle The Foreign Fanatics and The MJC try to upset the Fabulus Freebirds.

My Next Show: Continuing my Six-Man Tag-Team Championship Tournament.

QUOTE

Harccore Tag- The Freebirds (Terry Gordy/Buddy Roberts) deaf. The Godwinns (Henry 'O/Phineas I)

- Essentially another squash for the Freebirds in a long line of them (so far) against The Godwinn clan. Its a brawl to start, at some point a chair comes into play. Gordy is busted open. Eventually Roberts takes control by throwing the ring stairs off the top rope (while standing on the top-rope) on top of a standing Henry Godwinn.

Michaelangelo deaf. Earthquake (Debut)

- Earthquake comes out, demands a match and Mikey is glad to answer his challenge. 'Quake takes over early, using his strength and size advantage to take over in the early going. Mikey eventually avoids a splash in the corner and hits a Dragon-Slayer kick (think Benjamin's Dragonwhip) for three.

- Postmatch, Typhoon (Debut) jumps Mikey and he and 'Quake beat the shit out of him.

The Kurrgan deaf. Marvel's Mightiest (Star Gladiator/Whiplash)

- Basically a squash on Whiplash and his new partner, Star Gladiator. MM try double -teaming early only to be swatted away. Kurrgan answers back with several big power moves, KILLS Whiplash with a powerbomb, and then obliterates Star Gladiator with a boot to the skull which caused blood to issue from his ear.

Six-Man Tag-team Championship Tournament- Semi-Finals

Canadian Violence Connection deaf. The Foreign Fanatics

- Pretty solid match here, in the *** star range. The CVC are smart enough to try to knock Kamala out of commission early, knowing he's the biggest threat of the match. Eventually, through a series of high impact manuevers they're able to weaken Kamala down to the point where Sheik forced himself in. The match became a bit closer as this happened, with Sheik and Benoit trading suplexes and stiff chops. The turning point for the FF would come when Volkoff and Sheik were unable to hit thier neckbreaker/back-suplex allowing Benoit to make the tag to a fresh Chris Jericho. Upon this happening a pier-six brawl would break out, allowing Storm to nail Kamala with a trailing-knee to send him to the floor, while at the same time Benoit and Jericho would submit Sheik with a combination Crossface/Liontamer.

- Postmatch, Sheik would fake a handshake and shoot a fireball into Chris Benoit's face.

Main Event: Final Semi-Final Six-Man Tag-Team Championship Tournament Match
MJC (Marc Mero/Bob Holly/Godfather) vs. The Freebirds

- Very basic match here. Freebirds dominate for the most part, using thier teamwork and overwhelming ability to get around the ref without being caught. Eventually Mero takes over, and oddly enough begins to dominate all three of his opponents with his peppering them with his shitty boxer punches before getting the tag to Bob Holly who essentially runs into a brickwall. So Holly gets a heat-segment on him, until he desperately fights his way back into the match, hitting a crossbody on all three Freebirds. Holly now gets a tag to the Godfather who comes in and simply collapses. As Godfather fakes an injury Henry Godwinn runs in and KILLS Michael Hayes with a stiff chairshot allowing Mero to hit a 450 splash for the pin.

- Postmatch: Hayes and his partners both argue. Gordy shoves Hayes into a Robert's DDT before both men waylay Hayes with a chair.

- THE FREEBIRDS EXPLODE!!!!

So yeah, pretty big development with THE FREEBIRDS EXPLODING!!!!

Special Event Match-Up

Yeah, I only had time for a quick match before I went out drinking with some friends. So....

Hasbro Bossman/Hasbro Mr. Perfect deaf. Regular Big Bossman/Regular Mr. Perfect

- The bigger Bossman/Perfect team dominate the match to start, squaring off with their opposites; the pairings being Reg. Pefect/Hasbro Bossman and Reg. Bossman/Hasbro Perfect. The finish comes when Hasbro Perfect gets a Perfectplex on Regular Bossman, and Hasbro Bossman nailed Regular Mr. Pefect with a nightstick (a miniature nightstick- of course- :D  :D) in the kneecap, temporarily dislocating it.

Battle Royal Event- Supershow

- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin hits the ring at the outset of the special program. He cuts an angry promo (though oddly, his mouth doesn't move along with his words....) stating his displeasure (putting it mildly :D)  with not being allowed into the big number one contendership battle royal main event match.

- Tempest McAwesome then comes up on the McAwesome- Tron telling Austin he needs to win a "very important" match to get into the battle royal.

- Suddenly Mr. Perfect's music hits, it cuts out and is played over by Big Bossman's music.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin deaf. Hasbro Perfect/Hasbro Bossman/Big Bossman/Mr. Perfect in a four-on-one handicap hardcore match.

- Its a brawl to start, with the four heels dominating under the Texas Tornado Rules. Austin takes a beating, barely fighting back against all four heels. Eventually a chair comes into play; Austin blocks a nighstick shot from Hasbro Bossman and OBLITERATES him with a chairshot. He follows up by getting a chairshot lowblow on Regular Bossman. Both Perfect's charge Austin following that, but Austin was able to get a kick to Hasbro Perfect's injured kneecap to pin him. Regular Perfect then went back on the attack but got stunnered and pinned after Austin backflipped out of a backsuplex. By this point both Bossmen had recovered but Austin got dual lowblows on both of them, Hasbro Bossman then got rolled up by his slacks for the pin. For the final pin Regualr Bossman tries to position himself to jump Austin with his nightstick, but Austin gets a lowkick and a stunner for the final pin.

- As an exhausted Austin collapses in the ring Tempest McAwesome appears on the McAwesome -Tron and announces the start of the battle royal/gauntlet.

#1- Austin starts off against #2 Regular Bossman. Austin takes a killer whopping to start, but fights back valiantly. He isn't able to eliminate Bossman, but he's able to toss his nightstick out to the floor.  #3 Hasbro Perfect. The beating continues with Hasbro Perfect and Reg. Bossman whopping Austin's ass from pillar to post but they still can't get him out. #4 Hasbro Bossman is out next, the hammering goes on even longer on Austin, as he desperately punches away and rakes eyes. But Austin can't get anyone out and they can't get him out. #5 is Regular Mr. Perfect, now Austin gets quadrople teamed to the point of near-elimination, but fights back into it. #6 is Henry 'O Godwinn. HOG in with pounding blows on everyone, helping Austin out slightly, eventually Hasbro Bossman accidentally nails Reg. Perfect with a right hand, they shove each other and wind up brawling amongst themselves with Reg. Bossman and Hasbro Perfect getting into it too. Austin takes advantage, jumping and pounding down everyone. #7 is Rekon (of The Truth Commission) he comes in and does very little. Its essentially a seven person brawl at this point, with lots of hugging and punching. #8 is Hasbro Earthquake, who comes in and clubbers around on everyone, slowing the match wayyyy down. Everyone takes their shots at him, and fails for the most part. #9 is Andre "The Giant". Andre comes in like a house of fire (a very slow burning fire, but fire still....) and dumps out Reg. Bossman, Mini Perfect, Reg. Perfect,  Mini Bossman, HOG Man, Rekon, and Hasbro 'Quake- but not neccessarily in that order. During this #10, Nikolai Volkoff hits the ring and attacks Austin but gets stunnered and tossed by Andre.

Now Andre and Austin face off, they brawl with Austin fighting his way to an advantage and getting fourteen stunners on Andre that sends him to the floor. But there's no rest for the wicked, as #10 Lex Luger hits the ring pounding on Austin and stomping away. By the way, even Luger's action figure still does really shitty stomps. But Luger's star has fallen to the point where Austin can no-sell his offense without killing his non-existent credibility- so he does and he starts kicking his plastic ass. Umm, anyway, #11 is Sargeant Slautgher who goes straight for Austin. Sarge and Luger do a bit of a double-team number on Austin, leading to Sarge being eliminated off of an errant Luger clothesline. Stunned Luger turns around and gets Stunnered and tossed to the floor. #12 is Terry Gordy who heads straight for Austin and gets several harsh kicks to the chest. Both guys brawl for a bit, with Austin mostly on the receiving end. Appropriately enough #13 is the veteran Undertaker in full on Badass mode, he hits the ring and soupbones Gordy to death before tossing him out- ending their 1996 feud once and for all. As they have so often before Austin and 'Taker brawl, and Austin attacks the legs trying to get 'Taker off his feet. #14 is Mankind who attacks 'Taker right off the bat, ignoring Austin. Austin takes a break, collapsing into the corner. Eventually 'Taker gets Mankind into the Last Ride but Mankind slips out and lands on his feet but takes a Stunner from Austin allowing 'Taker to toss him.

With 'Taker distracted Austin sneaks up behind him and dumps him to the floor. #15 is The Kurrgan who physically dominates Austin. Austin hammers his way back but his shots go unsold. #16 now is Marc Mero who goes after both Austin and The Kurrgan. Now it's pretty much a free-for-all; all three men take turns on offense. #17 is Barry Whendam, who pounds on all three men. It stays a four-way brawl despite Whendam's marching orders to take out Austin. #18 is Road Warrior Animal who clubbers and clobbers everyone, until Austin negotiates him out about thirty-seven seconds later. Animal is AFWL's first Bushwhacker award winner..... :). #19 is the One Legged Unknown Pirate Wrestler who gets dumped out without getting in a punch. (Note: By this point I was running low on guys, so I used a broken figure who I could simply count and toss out). #20 is Edge. Austin now is targeted by Whendam, Whendam beats Austin down but gets dumped when he tries for a Superplex. In short order Austin then would dump Kurrgan and Mero as they were hugging near the ropes. In the final elimination Austin backdrops Edge out as he tries for a spear.

AUSTIN'S THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- So, my first Pay-Per-View is set up. Austin's the number one contender, wrestling DDP for the AFWL Title.

Coming up next, the last show before the AFWL's first PPV and then the PPV itself.

AFWL- Sunday Night Showdown- Debut Episode

Andre "The Giant" deaf. Phineas I. Godwinn

- Just a squash. Phineas attacks from the outset, pounding and hammering away until Andre boots him, gets a big dropkick and a double underhook suplex for the pin.

Hell Company (Sargeant Slaughter/Duke) deaf. The New Rockers (Jannetty/Leif Cassidy)

- Not a pretty match at all. Duke pulls of some high impact stuff, Sarge powers his way through a short heat segment and Duke gets the hot tag in. Duke finishes it with a running knee in the corner followed by an Anaconda Vice for the tapout on Jannetty as Sarge submits Cassidy with the Cobra Clutch.

Kurrgan deaf. Collusus (Of The X-Men)

- More squash than Thanksgiving dinner. Kurrgan wins it with the Brainclaw.

- Postmatch: Kurrgan keeps the Brainclaw locked on. The ref can't get him off. Hacksaw Duggan makes the save.

* "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Kurrgan set for the first Pay-Per-View.

Mr. Perfect deaf. Henry 'O Godwinn

- Perfect works over the knee of Godwinn, one that was injured in his Hardcore-Tag a couple shows ago. Godwinn powers out of an Indian Deathlock, and makes the Hillbilly-Mania come back. Godwinn no-sells Perfect's offense, with Perfect bumping his plastic ass off. Eventually Perfect rolls up Godwinn with the overalls to counter a Slop Drop.

Hardcore Match- Shane Douglas deaf. Nikolai Volkoff

- Pretty much a brawl; Volkoff uses a series of suplexes and slams to work over Douglas' ribs. Douglas fights back with his usual, including a killer Douglas-Driver (piledriver off the stage to the concrete) that somehow doesn't get three. Eventually a shovel comes into play. Douglas gets a shovel shot, sending Volkoff's throat down hard across the shovel head, followed by a leaping Ace Crusher for the pin.

- So to reiterate, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is set to face Kurrgan at AFWL's first Pay-Per-View. To further this both men will be involved in an Eight Man Elimination Tag on Monday Night Superstars. Their partners are to be announced later.

- Sid Vicious is set to debut tommorrow on Monday Night Superstars in action against a "tough opponent".

QUOTE
Monday Night Superstars

Sid Vicious (Debut) deaf. Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw

- More squash than an employee gym. Sid mercifully ends it with a powerbomb in about three minutes.

Mr. Perfect deaf. Ken Shamrock

- Perfect takes it to Ken early with kicks to the knee, trying to set him up for a Perfect-Plex. After fighting out of several leg holds with his Mixed Martial Arts stuff,  Shamrock fights his way back up. The end comes with Shamrock's martial arts kicks dimming Perfect's running lights, but when Shamrock went for a bodyslam his knee went out on him causing Perfect to fall on top and hook the tights for the pin.

- Postmatch: Shamrock's on the mic bitching about how Perfect "stole" the match from him. Moments later Sid Vicious made another surprise appearence powerbombing Shamrock.

* Ken Shamrock vs. Sid Vicious signed for the PPV due to this altercation.

Andre "The Giant" deaf. Edge

- Squash..... Andre wins it with a double-arm suplex after blocking a spear with a kneelift.

- Postmatch: Earthquake jumps Andre and, along with Typhoon beats him down and then challenges him for the PPV.

*Andre "The Giant" vs. Earthquake signed for the PPV

Ten-Man Elimintation Tag

Michaelangelo/ Marc Mero/ Bob Holly/ "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan/ Homer Simpson deaf. Kurrgan/ Kamala/ Big Bossman/ Typhoon/ The Rhino

- A big spotty brawl. Mikey gets taken out by Kamala in the very early going with the African Spike (thumb to throat). Bob Holly is eliminated by The Rhino with a spear. Mero pins The Rhino with a TKO. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan pins Typhoon with an Old Glory Kneedrop. Kurrgan and Duggan brawl to a double countout. Kamala is counted out when Bossman hits him with an accidental nightstick shot sending him to the floor through the announce table as he's holding Mero. Mero gets a TKO, followed by a Homer Simpson splash to pin Bossman.

Survivors: Marc Mero, Homer Simpson.

Interesting, and entertaining booking... almost makes me want to pull it out (the old league, pervs!) and try to do better.

For the record, I can. I'm the greatest! Often duplicated, never constipated... wait, how does that phrase go?

AFWL- In Your House 1- The Inagural Brawl

It's the AFWL's debut Pay-Per-View!!

But first an announcement: The Canadian Violence Connection cannot make it to this show to wrestle The Miracle Jobber Connection in our six-man tag-team championship tournament final due to poor travel conditions in Canada which is preventing their flight from taking off.

But now, onto our first match:

Sid Vicious deaf. Ken Shamrock

A pretty solid match to start out the show. Sid attacks early, clubbering all over Shamrock. He attacks the back early, attempting to weaken it for his powerbomb. After a long bearhug spot, Shamrock fights out and tries his gameplan of working over the joint of the leg and the thigh. He shuts Sid down at multiple points with this, with his lightning fast and laser-precise kicks. Towards the end Shamrock takes Sid to the floor and almost gets a countout following a leg-grapevine, that he holds until an eight count. Sid fights his way back into it with his clubbing blows to the back. The finish comes when Shamrock gets his anklelock locked in, Sid rolls through sending Shamrock into the corner. Shamrock recovers and nails several soccer kicks but Sid scoops him up into a powerbomb from his knees for the pin.

Overall: A very impressive showing from both men.

No Disqualification: The Iron Sheik deaf. Shane Douglas

A brawl, a long bloody brawl erupts from the outset with Sheik working over the ribs with slams and suplexes. Douglas powers through much of it and uses a chair to even the odds. Douglas' belly-to-belly somehow doesn't finish it following a stiff chairshot. Sheik bleeds, but it looks like red marker.

Eventually Nikolai Volkoff interferes leading to a sweet nearfall. Sheik holds Douglas, Douglas kicks Volkoff low and then backflips into a knee to the crown of Sheik's head for a looooooonnnnnggg two.

Moments later Kamala interferes, Michaelangelo runs in to help as does Homer Simpson and The Tyrant. During the fighting, Sheik is able to shoot a fireball into Douglas' face and spike him with a Half-Nelson suplex for the academic pin.

Test (Debut) deaf. Edge

Edge tries a lot of high-impact offense to start, Test no-sells most of it. Eventually Test hits a spinning neckbreaker from an F-5 position, and nails his big-boot for the win.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan deaf. Kurrgan

It's a long boring brawl to start. Kurrgan dominates most of it, but Duggan is able to slug his way back into it. Eventually Kurrgan is able to force Duggan to the floor by forcing him behind a video wall and pushing it off on top of him. Somehow Duggan makes it back in before the count out. Kurrgan tries to clothesline Duggan, but he hits the ref accidentally. Duggan takes advantage with several chairshots and an Old Glory Kneedrop for the pin.

Postmatch: The Jackyl, pissed that his protege lost shoves him. Big mistake.... Kurrgan boots him in response, ending their somewhat short relationship.

Five Woman All Powers Legal Falls Count Anywhere Elimination Match

Note: AFWL doesn't have a women's division, but we here like the idea of letting some indy women shine in this special match:

Rouge deaf. Poison Ivy/Ada Wong/Albino Chick from Turok/Phoenix

Order Of Elimination

1. Poison Ivy is eliminated by a flying German suplex from Rouge, who hit it from about fifty feet up in the air.

2. Ada Wong is eliminated with a double-wheelbarrow suplex from Rouge and Phoenix who hit it with extra oomph from about sixteen feet in the air.

3. Albino Turok Chick is eliminated when Rouge spins ATC around in an airplane spin, and drops her into a Phoenix neckbreaker for the pin.

4. Phoenix is eliminated when Rogue offers to shake her hand, but removes her glove and absorbs her energy. Rogue beats her up a little, smashing her into a wall and throwing her into a lighting fixture. For the finish, Rouge hits Phoenix with an electric chairdrop from twenty feet in the air onto concrete for the academic pin.

Andre "The Giant" deaf. Earthquake

Short match. The big men smash into each other. Neither of them budges. The finish comes when Andre dropkicks the knee to counter an Earthquake charge. With the knee injured Andre hit his butterfly suplex for the pin.

Hardcore Match: Kamala deaf. The Tyrant

Easily the best match of the night: They hammer each other from start to stop. Tyrant controls early, Kamala chops and claws and scratches and bites his way back into it. Tyrant then fights back into it, controlling with his power moves. The finish amazingly doesn't come via not one, not two, not three, but four of Tyrant's Plague Rages (Candian Backbreaker- think the Trainwreck). By this point Kamala seemed to be out, the Tyrant despite the protests of the referee would then drag Kamala to the top of the production tower and he hit a Plague Rages off the top. That amazingly only gets two.

Kamala would then go on to power his way back up with seven trapped arm belly-to-belly suplexes- in a row. Kamala never let go of it. Kamala followed it up with an African Spike. Kamala followed that with a splash off the production tower. That, finally and mercifully ended it.

Mr. Perfect deaf. Mystery Opponent

This match was announced at the top of the show. Perfect looks worried, Beefcake hits the ring quickly. He controls with a wide variety of bland wrestling moves- think back-suplexes, bulldogs and clotheslines. A nearfall comes toward the middle of the match, echoing the finish of Beefcake and Perfects Wrestlemania 7 match, when Beefcake slingshots Perfect into the corner and covers him.

Beefcake would lock in his sleeper moments later, but Perfect backs him up into the corner and gets a reverse lowkick to break and a Perfect-Plex for the pin.

AFWL Title Match: Diamond Dallas Page deaf. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

They brawl to start, with Austin slugging his way into an early lead. They brawl and brawl and brawl some more. The finish comes when Diamond hits the Diamond Cutter to counter a Lou Thesz press for the pin. DDP is the new AFWL Champion.

- Well that's certainly surprising.

END SHOW

Tempest - March 16, 2007 12:28 AM (GMT)
Back to business.....

Update: The AFWL, and AFWL president Tempest McAwesome is sad to announce the potential loss of Diamond Dallas Page. His contract as a worker in the AFWL came up days before the company's first Pay-Per-View. However, he hadn't yet resigned. The AFWL felt that by giving him the title, and in fact, putting him over the biggest babyface in the history of modern wrestling (clean, no less) would abait him. It didn't.

(Dick....)

So, the AFWL is proud to announce that Diamond's title run will be stricken from the records. But, do to the newness of AFWL as a company and a brand the amount of top-contenders isn't strong enough to warrant a full tournament for the title. Therefore the title will revert back to the losing half of the title match, as a measure of default practice due to there being no other true available options.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is the new AFWL champion.

As a matter of common courtesy regarding Page, if he resigns he will be granted an immediate rematch with whoever the champion happens to be.

With that out of the way, lets get on to AFWL Warzone.

AFWL WARZONE

King-Kong-Bundy debuted and def. Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw with a running corner splash followed by a standing leg-drop.

Postmach; The Jackyl hits the ring, flanked by a cavalcade of monster-heels: Viscera, Matt Morgan, Test, and Combat Troll (note: yes, I'm using a Troll doll). He announced this group as his "army of crusading martyrs." They're here to take out Kurrgan and whoever else he can get together for his Survivor Series team.

Andre "The Giant" deaf. Mankind with a butterfly suplex, in a squash. Mankind hammers away a bit, tries a piledriver, gets backdropped. Moments later a dropkick and a butterfly suplex end it.

Postmatch: Sid Vicious, The Natural Disasters, and the debuting Money Inc. jump Andre and beat him down. After this IRS gives cuts an oldschool "Tax Cheats" promo to a chorus of boos as Andre lays on the canvas, bleeding.

- Backstage: Road Warriror Animal is enraged to see his old foes Money INC back in the game. He grabs a passing John Heidenreich (a man he's teamed with before, in fact) and they charge out the door.

Main Event: Hardcore Match: Sid Vicious soundly sqaushes Brutus Beefcake. Beefcake tries some punches to start, Sid simply overpowers him and drops him with a chokeslam. As if that wasn't enough Sid picks him up and powerbombs him onto the ringsteps and covers with a single finger for three.

Postmatch: Sid gets a microphone and begins to run down Andre for being old and fat.

"Andre, he's bogus. He just ain't got it any more."

(*cough* and this is coming from someone who broke his leg and hasn't wrestled since? From someone who couldn't have a good match with God, Chris Benoit himself? *cough*)

Moments later Andre hits the ring. But he's no match for the five-on-one assault. Animal and Heidenreich try for a save but only get beaten down.

As the heels continue to do their number on the outnumbered faces The Steiner Brothers make the save. Scott's lost a lot of muscle mass and has grown out his mullet again, by the way. They throw Money INC around and clubber on them a bit but the five on two onslaught is still too much. Finally the Godwinns hit the ring to help even the score.

The show ends with all ten men brawling and the Road Warriors laid out.

Survivor Series 1

Opening Match:

Kurrgan/Adam Bomb/Mankind/Edge/Ken Shamrock deaf. King Kong Bundy/Test/Viscera/Combat Troll/Matt Morgan

Order Of Elimination:

1. Adam Bomb

- After a bit of back and forth between Kurrgan and Bundy, Bomb gets tagged in. He goes batshit crazy on everyone with slams and suplexes. A snap-suplex gets two on Bundy causing him to bail out. Bomb hammers on Viscera off another tag. When Bomb attempts a springboard clothesline Bundy grabs his leg causing him to crash and burn. Viscera drops a splash for three.

2. Viscera

- Edge is in next, he takes it to Vis from the outset, a series of dropkicks shakes him up, but doesn't knock him down. Edge tries to take out the legs, but Viscera clobbers his way back into a it. A tag to Shamrock gives Edge an oppurtunity to rest as Viscera clobbers on Shamrock. When Viscera tries for a whip, Shamrock reverses it, Edge makes the blind tag- Shamrock leapfrogs Viscera on a charge and Edge spears him for the three.

3. Matt Morgan

- Morgan comes in and powerbombs the hell out of Edge, but doesn't get it. Morgan follows that up with a gutwrench, a Dr. Death style powerslam gets two. Morgan tries a clothesline in the corner, but Edge dropkicks the knee. Mankind gets the tag in for the first time. He hammers away, and hits his piledriver for two. Mankind follows that up with the Mandible Claw, Morgan tries to power out, but Mankind locks in a bodyscissor with the legs. Morgan goes out.

4. Mankind

- Mankind however, won't let go. As he's distracted with continuing the hold on Morgan, Test hits a top-rope elbow to pin Mankind.

5. Ken Shamrock

- Shamrock hits the ring next, he legsweeps Test, and wails on Morgan before hitting him with a hurricanranna, Bundy eats a big belly-to-belly suplex. Combat Troll comes in to square up with Shamrock. Shamrock opens up with kicks to the thigh, he takes him down and kicks him hard in the temple. Moments later Morgan nails Shamrock with a boot to the head, a doulble-team powerbomb/neckbreaker ends Shamrock's night.

6. Edge

- Edge is in, quickly going back on the attack on Test. A neckbreaker gets two. A swinging neckbreaker gets another two. Test fights back with a clothesline, but Edge ducks and gets a backslide. Test rolls through, comes to his feet and boots Edge's face off!! to put Edge away.

7. Test

- Kurrgan is alone now. He comes in, and boots Test in the back of the head. A sit-out chokeslam ends his night after eliminating three men in a row.

8. King-Kong-Bundy

- Kurrgan and Bundy brawl, Bundy dominates Kurrgan with his weight and size advantage. Bundy forces Kurrgan back to the corner, a running avalanche gets two. Bundy tries it again, but Kurrgan catches him and muscles him into a falling front slam for three. I'd call that impressive.....

9. Combat Troll

- With Kurrgan stunned from his over-excersion with dealing with Bundy, Troll is in hammering. Every move is a potential knockout, but Kurrgan keeps coming back. A powerbomb counter to a running knee gets Kurrgan two. Troll pounds his way back in with rights and lefts, Kurrgan avoids a dropkick and locks in the Brainclaw. Troll knees his way out and gets a trapped arm belly-to-belly. Kurrgan no sells it, and powers out of a cover at one. Kurrgan's front falling slam gets only two. Both guys back up, and Kurrgan gets a shuffle side-kick. Kurrgan gets a Brainclaw slam for three.

Winner and Sole Survivor: Kurrgan

Hidden Nightstick Match

Regular Big Bossman deaf. Homer Simpson

- The rules of the match are simple; a nighstick is hidden somewhere around ringside. It must be used before a pin or submission can be registered to end the match. Both men start out nose to nose. In an instant they turn and run to opposite ends of the ring area. They tear a bunch of shit apart, searching for the hidden nightstick. Bossman is the first one to take advantage of this. He jumps Homer and clobbers him. He stomps him down and drops a knee and a couple elbows. He tosses Homer to the sub-staging and handcuffs him. With Homer cuffed he continues his search unabaited, only occasionally coming back to hammer on Homer. Eventually, Homer is able to fight back with only one hand, he slugs and chops away, chokes away with the handcuff chain and hits a jumping enziguri. With Bossman stunned, Homer uncuffs himself. He works over Bossman with punches aided by the use of handcuffs. Bossman gets busted open. Homer throws him around easily with suplexes, a T-Bone sends Bossman to the sub-staging. Homer goes back to the search. With Homer distracted with his searching Hasbro Bossman gives Bossman a different nightstick. Bossman jumps Homer with it.

A powerbomb following that attack gets a long two. As Bossman nails Homer with another nightstick shot the official nightstick falls from the top of the stage. It was knocked loose. Homer goes to that, and he and Bossman get dueling nightstick shots. They batter each other, a shot to Bossman's knee stuns him allowing Homer to get a hurricanranna for two. For the finish Hasbro Bossman hits Homer in the back of his thigh with his nightstick allowing Regular Bossman to get a Bossman-Slam to end it.

Winner: Regular Big Bossman

Texas-Tornado Rules Six-Man Tag Elimination Match

The Foreign Fanatics/'The African Dream' Akeem deaf. Hell Company/"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan

- Hell Company is the new name of Sargeant Slaughter and Duke's new military-themed team.

The match is a wild brawl to start. All three men hammer each other, Duggan/Akeem, Duke/Volkoff, and Sarge/Sheik are the pairings for the most part in the early going.

Order Of Elimination:

1. Sgt. Slaughter

- In all the early chaos, Sheik is able to low-blow Sarge. A knee-lift from Volkoff sets up Sheik to hit his half-nelson suplex. That only gets two. Akeem proves to be the deciding factor. He's able to belly-to-belly Sarge and splash him for three.

2. Nikolai Volkoff

- With Slaughter eliminated Duke comes out fighting, he pours the pressure on all three guys, hitting them with his martial arts stuff at every turn. Duggan does his part, powering Akeem to the sub-stage with a clothesline. In a confusing spot Volkoff is eliminated, Sheik tries for his half-nelson suplex, Duke lands and throws him up into a backbreaker. Volkoff tries a neckbreaker but gets thrown over head. Duke follows that up with a running knee-strike in the corner. An Anaconda Vice submission ends it. Volkoff taps like a bitch, but holds on, not letting go of Duke.

3. Duke

- Sheik drops a knee on the back of Duke's head. He rolls him over and covers for the shocking pin.

4. Duggan

- With Duggan alone, Sheik and Akeem are able to do a real number on him. Duggan powers through the double-teaming, punching away. He rattles both men, and somehow bodyslams Akeem. An Old Glory Kneedrop puts him out, but Sheik continues to attack. Duggan shoves him hard into the corner. Moments later Hasbro-Bossman runs in, he wraps himself around Duggan. Akeem forces Duggan into the corner, he crushes him between himself and Shiek. Shiek falls on top for the cover.

2. IRS

- Scott Steiner is in next, and he hammers away like a house of fire. IRS is flung across the ring with a belly-to-belly. Dibiase eats one of his own when he tries to interfere. IRS comes back with a knee to the back. A neckbreaker is counterted by a REVERSE FRANKENSTEINER for the elimination.

- Rick is in next, he clobbers on SiD. An outgoing IRS lowblolws Rick from behind. Rick eats a powerbomb and takes the pin.

4. Typhoon

5. Scott Steiner

- SiD comes in, overpowers Scotty and powerbombs him for the shocking pin.

6. Henry Godwinn

- Godwinn's in, clubbering and wailing away. SiD blocks a bodyslam, but gets whipped off. Godwinn ducks early and eats a powerbomb for the pin.

Winner and Sole Survivor- Andre "The Giant"

Hardcore War- Kamala deaf. Shane Douglas

- Douglas tries everything he can to dent Kamala but most of it goes pretty much unsold. Kamala dominates attacking the terminally injured ribs of Douglas. Douglas fights back using a chair, several creative spots  nearly put Kamala out. But nothing seems to be finding the correct combination to put Kamala out for good. With all else failing Douglas' allies Michaelangelo and Tyrant run in. A Plague Rages almost ends Kamala's night via- The Tyrant. Eventually Kamala and Douglas wind up fighting up to the top of the video structure. Michaelangelo attacks Kamala, but gets flung off. He holds on and trips up Kamala, Douglas gets a knee-lift sending Kamala falling fourteen feet to the floor. That gets two. A couple triple-team moves prove fruitless.

The finish comes when Shiek and Volfoff interefere. Sheik tries a fireball, but Douglas boots him in the face with a big boot. He then turns to eat an African Spike from Kamala for the pin.

Winner: Kamala

Six-Man Tag-Team Championship Finals:

Miracle Jobber Connection deaf. Demolition

- Pretty short match here. Demoliton make their grand return at the behest of Tempest McAwesome, replacing The CVC.

Everyone gets their signature spots in. Mero takes a real shit-kicking, but fights back into it. The finish comes when all Hell breaks loose. A Godfather Pimp-Drop, followed up by a Wild Thing Moonsault end Demoltion's night.

Winners and NEW Six-Man Tag-Team Champions- "Marvelous" Marc Mero/Bob Holly/Godfather

AFWL Title- Michaelangelo deaf. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin ©

- Austin is on top in the begginning, he pounds and hammers Mikey. The domination continues, but Mikey shoots and fights his way back into it with martial arts kicks and chops. Mikey's high impact offense takes over on Austin, but Austin keeps kicking out and coming back. Everytime, however, Austin thinks he's getting the advantage an attack comes from yet another different angle. He's shut down at every turn. It takes Mikey missing a 450 splash for Austin to get the advantage again. He gets a Stunner for only two.

Austin continues to dominate with his usual, lots of right hands, elbows, knees and stomps. With Austin in control, the Tyrant intereferes to save his buddy. A Plague Rages is countered. Austin kicks Tyrant in the groin and Stunners him. Mikey takes advantage with Austin's back turned and hits a superkick. That gets a looooonnngggg two count. Mikey, quick to follow up, tries for an elevating DDT but Austin brings him down into a lowblow. An Austin piledriver gets another two.

Austin tries for a backsuplex, Mikey rolls out and tries a float-over reverse DDT. Austin throws him into the corner to counter. Austin hits a superplex for two. Out of nowhere, Douglas hobbles in and attempts a belt shot but gets Stunnered out of no where. With Austin distracted, Mikey gets a beltshot to the back of the head followed by a float-over reverse DDT for the pin.

Yes.... Michaelangelo is the new AFWL Champion, and Diamond Dallas Page leaving was a swerve.....

:D

Winner and NEW AFWL champion Michaelangelo

- That's my favorite show so far. I hope anyone that reads this really enjoys it as much as I did putting it together.

AFWL Warzone-

Survivor Series 1 Fallout

- Shane Douglas is out, hobbling to the ring to the strains of Deep Purple's "Perfect Stranger". The reaction to his is surprisingly mixed as video of the night before plays showing him Interfereing against Steve Austin in his match with Michaelangelo the night before. Douglas states, that his ribs are injured. They've been almost terminally injured since his first night in the company. His deep tissue is injured on his back. So now he's asking for time off.

"But I want one last good fight before I leave!"

Doulgas stands in the ring, throws down the microphone and waits.

- Moments later the glass shatters. Austin comes stomping out, he comes inside and goes nose-to-nose with Douglas staring him down.

The McAwesome- Tron roars to life moments later; "Boys, boys, boys." Tempest McAwesome gloats. We've got a new champion, but not a new number-one contender. Austin, you want your belt back. Douglas, you want a good fight?"

"I think I have an idea. Douglas/Austin- number one contender? I like it...."

Six-Man Tag-Team Championship- Miracle Jobber Connection deaf. The Bossmen/Akeem

- Bossmen and Akeem do a number on Mero for a few minutes, but Mero's high-impact offense keeps it relatively even for the most part. He weathers a beating from Hasbro Bossman, and a mis-timed Akeem splash allows Mero to roll underneath Regular Bossman's legs and make the tag. The Godfather is in like a house of fire. Some martial arts stuff gets two on Hasbro Bossman. Akeem tries a belly-to-belly but takes a side Judo-throw. Regular Bossman and Godfather slug it out. Bossman tries a piledriver, but Godfather picks him up into a single-leg spinebuster. Hardcore Holly is tagged in. He hammers Bossman, each man trades punches. Bossman gets a stiff uppercut to the throat. That gets a shockingly close two. Akeem is tagged in, a big splash is avoided. Holly recovers and snaps off an Alabama Slam. Godfather comes in to Pimp Drop Regular Bossman. Mero hits a TKO on Hasbro Bossman, spinning his legs into the face of both Akeem and Regular Bossman. That takes both men down for the allowing Mero to cover for the win.

Mr. Perfect deaf. Mankind in a Hardcore Match

- Perfect proves to be, uhh, not so hardcore from the start. Mankind hammers him, hiptosses him to the sub-stage. A truth or consequences elbow nets two on the floor. Mankind continues hammering away on the floor. Perfect counters a swing-neckbreaker by grabbing on to the ring floor above him. Mankind's head hits the ground with a resounding thud. Perfect throws Mankind back in and gets his running neck-snapper. That gets two. A back-suplex gets two. A DDT gets two. Mankind gets whipped in, he boots Perfect on a charge. A pulling piledriver gets a nice long two.

Frustrated Mankind grabs a chair. He pildrives Perfect on the chair. That gets two. Perfect shoves Mankind's head onto the chair to counter a double arm DDT. Perfect tries the Perfect-Plex, but Mankind boots his way out. Mankind tries another piledriver, but Perfect low-blows his way out. Perect follows that up with a shot with the point of the chair to the knee joint followed by a Perfect-Plex for three.

Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw deaf. Rick Steiner

- Rick starts out hammering away. He suplexes Bradshaw a bit, smashes him with some uninspired punching and stomping. He plants Bradshaw with a back-suplex. Bradshaw ducks a Steiner-Bulldog from the top-rope and smashes Steiner's head into the buckle before rolling him up using the tights for the pin.

Number 1 Contender For The AFWL Title- Shane Douglas deaf. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

- This match is the epitome of a main event brawl. Austin dominates with a combination of right hands and knees to the ribs. Some uncharacteristic back-breakers injure Douglas' ribs even further. A bearhug wears out Douglas, but he fights back with right hands. He hits a spinning neckbreaker. A hangman's neckbreaker gets two. Douglas nails a hard clothesline. He punches Austin across the ring. Austin backdrops his way out of a Douglas-Driver. He goes to the sub-stage landing hard on his ribs. Austin drops an elbow from the ring apron to the sub-stage.

Austin drags Douglas inside, stomps the ribs and punches away. Austin tries for a Stunner after some more non-descript brawling. Douglas counters with a bridging German suplex for a loooooooonnnnnnnnngggggggg. Austin stands up, obviously favoring his neck. Douglas piledrives him for another looooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg two count. Douglas then gets this evil look on his face. He drags Austin over to the side of the ring. He sets up for a Douglas-Driver. He stops to taunt, screams "fuck Austin!". Austin however manauvers Douglas into a vertical-suplex and leaps off the apron, sending Douglas' ribs down across the edge of the sub-stage.

Austin now chairs Douglas and tosses him back inside for two. Austin tries to pull Douglas up, but Douglas goes low and gets a belly-to-belly suplex. He covers for two. The crowd (i.e. me) chants "match of the year" as Austin throttles up, bleeding fromt he nose. He hammers away, a Lou Thesz press is used. Austin tries a vertical suplex but Douglas counters with a sick jumping knee to the head. Douglas follows that up with a hangman's neckbreaker from a German suplex position.

Austin kicks out, he hammers away. Six blatant-lowblows nets Austin another long two. The ref's gonna let it go. Austin with a Stunner attempt. Douglas shoves him off, and leads him into a jumping Ace Crusher. That only gets two.

Its just now that the Foreign Fantatics hit the ring. Douglas chairs an onrushing Kamala. He chairs the brains out of Shiek. Austin, being the person he is Stunners Volkoff. Austin turns around and gets horseshoed with the chair. Douglas smashes Austin's throat on the chair. Two, and only two.

The finish comes, when Sheik tries to shoot a fireball at Douglas. Douglas avoids it and throws Austin into its path. Douglas covers for three.

- Only in an action figure fed could Steve Austin and Shane Douglas have a near five star match.

- Yep. Shane Douglas is the new number-one contender. His friend Michaelangelo is the champion.

- The AFWL looks forward to the possibilities regarding the matches between the two men.

- Yay!!!! Storyline advancement...... :D

Notes:

- Expect Austin to be out for a while.

- Douglas is in line for a big push.

- Rick Steiner was punished in jobbing to Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw due to his complaining about his lack of ring time at the Survivor Series.

- Disney's Hercules was originally going to be Austin's opponent. But plans were changed when it was felt that Hercules didn't deserve such a large push so early in his career.

- Iron Man was going to be Shane Douglas' opponent tonight. But plans were scraped when Douglas was given the greenlight to start a push. He's going to debut soon, though.

AFWL- Tuesday Night Throwdown

- To start the show the McAwesome- Tron roars to life. Mr. Tempest McAwesome states his intentions to crown a six-man tag-team championship number-one contender. The matches will be Nikolai Volkoff facing Bob Holly, "Marvelous" Marc Mero vs. Iron Sheik, and The Godfather vs. Kamala. He mentions that the Fanatics only need to win two-thirds of their respective matches to arrive at their number-one contender status, meaning the matches could end with us seeing the final match. If that happens then the Godfather and Kamala will wrestle at a later date instead of tonight.

Gauntlet Match 1- Hardcore Holly deaf. Nikolai Volkoff

- Even match to start. Volkoff and Holly mat wrestle for a bit. Volkoff does some rudimentary arm-work. Holly fights back, slugging with his injured arm (idiot  :P) . Volkoff drops him with a single-arm DDT. He stomps and hammers away on it. A hammerlock-slam gets two. For the finish, Hardcore makes a big comeback. He clotheslines Volkoff's brains out. A series of bodyslams get two. Vertical suplex attempt, Volkoff floats down and tries another single-arm DDT. Hardcore blocks and Volkoff hits the mat head-first. Holly wins it with the Alabama Slam moments later.

Winner: Hardcore Holly

Gauntlet Match 2- The Iron Sheik deaf. "Marvelous" Marc Mero

- Mero shakes Sheik in the early going with a ton of high-impact, high-energy offense. He gets a quick two off a springboard leg-drop. Sheik bails, and Mero follows it up with a running suicide dive to the substage. Mero sends Sheik back inside. Sheik takes over for the first time when he blocks the TKO and knees Mero in the back. He gets a backbreaker. Sheik stomps on the back.  He hits a couple more back-breakers. Sheik gets a long two with a Canadian Back-breaker.

Seemingly winded, Sheik locks in a bearhug and continually wears Mero out with it. Mero tries to punch his way out. Sheik drops him with a DDT out of the bear-hug position for a loooooonnnnnnnnnggggg two. Sheik hits a few quick suplexes. A gutwrench into a backbreaker gets another two.

Mero back drops his way out of a double-underhook suplex. He makes his comeback with a spinning leg lariat. Mero hobbles through a comeback. He hits several combinations of punching. Sheik tries to stay with him, but Mero keeps out-punching him.

Sheik tries to go back to the, uhhh, back, but Mero no-sells it. Mero gets a hurricanranna for a nice two count. Mero gets a standing moonsault moments later for another two. Sheik counters a DDT by running Mero into the corner. Sheik backs up and tries to charge in, but Mero gets a Jack Briscoe roll-up for a two. Both men come back up. Mero tries for The Kiss That Don't Miss, but Sheik ducks it. He tries a half-nelson suplex, but Mero flips out of it. Mero lands awkwardly and re-injures his back.

Sheik, quickly taking advantage, spikes Mero with another half-nelson suplex for the pin.

Winner: The Iron Sheik

Gauntlet Match 3- Kamala deaf. The Godfather

- Both men brawl to start, the announcers call Kamala an "imposing "figure"" as someone mentions how large he is. Godfather tries some crappy pseudo-martial arts crap but Kamala powers through all of it.  Godfather tries some generic power moves, but, for the most part its nothin' doin'. Kamala no-sells a spike DDT and hits a tossup Samoan Drop for a loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggg two. Godfather fights back into it, with a couple well placed punches and kicks rocking Kamala a bit. Godfather gets a surprising nearfall with a second-rope clothesline.

The Pimp Drop gets a looooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg two. The crowd (i.e. me  :D ) totally bought that as the finish. Kamala holds on to the Godfather after he kicks out, stands up, and kills Godfather belly-to-belly. That only gets two.

Kamala, now in complete control tries the African Spike. Godfather rolls underneath the Spike, comes to his feet and levels Kamala with a Yakuza kick. That gets a nice long two.

Godfather tries to follow that up, but Kamala hits him with the African Spike before he can do anything. Kamala covers for the academic three.

Winner: Kamala

- The match is on: The Foreign Fanatics are now the number-one contenders for The MJC's six-man tag-team championship titles. The AFWL looks forward to the possibilities this match holds- whatever they may be.

Insider Notes:

QUOTE

- According to some recenct reports that AFWL management has recently told Kamala not to sell so much in his matches. Apparently, they feel that selling for his opponents has weakened the potency of his "invincible savage" character.

- Despite reports to the contrary, Disney's Hercules has not quit/been fired over/for complaining about his aborted push. In fact, he was never told much about it in the first place. His name was only an option, and not a solid plan at any point.

- Iron Man is going to debut very soon. His name is being thrown around as a potential first ever Intercontinental Champion.

- Potenial for Road Warrior Animal's future employment by the AFWL seems shaky, at best. Behavior backstage at recent events would have gotten him fired if it weren't for his veteran status. The word is the decision regarding Animal's employment hinges on his performance in a planned match with Kamala at the upcoming Tokoyo Dome Doubleshot.

- Bossman is championing a push for himself, but so far reactions seem to be negative.

- SiD Vicious' contract was apparently only a short term deal. He's going to be gone for good following the Tokoyo show. Don't expect to see him there, either, as he's been complaining about his payouts lately- so he's being punished by not being allowed to work.

- Despite rumors to the contrary, there are no plans to change the name of In Your House: Blitzkrieg to something less quasi-Nazi related.

- Wolverine is apparently unhappy with his current status. He's on a pay per appearence deal and has been campaigning to get signed to a full time contract. The AFWL has rebuffed his requests, sighting his lack of focus and flakiness as it relates to staying with a company on a long-term basis.

I should make an offer to Hercules and Wolverine to come join my league. I know how to run a promotion B)

Just last week, Professor Xavier's legs magically came to life and he defeated Toad, who is playing a homeless gimmick, in one of the most shocking matches in wrestling history. Afterwards, Xavier's legs stopped working again, but it was still a special moment.

AFWL-Wednesday Night Warzone

Six-Man Tag-Team Championship- The Foreign Fantatics deaf. The Miracle Jobber Connection ©

- Well, leave it to the combination of Iron Shiek, Nikolai Volkoff, Kamala, Bob Holly, Marc Mero, and Godfather to put on a close to five star match to open up a free TV show:

Sheik and Mero start off, Mero controls with a bunch of his high-impact, hard hitting offense. Shiek controls the early portions of his encounter with Mero, using a series of knees to the back. He drops a knee to the back for a two.  Sheik continues to control with a gutwrench into a backbreaker over the knee.

Volkoff gets tagged in, he begins to work over the neck of Mero. A double level attack on Mero continues with Volkoff wailing on the neck. A stiff back-suplex gets two. A spinning neckbreaker gets another looooooonnnnnnnggggg two. The crowd totally eats up Mero's comeback, as he hammers and clubs his way back into it. A series of jabs knocks Volkoff to the floor, Sheik runs in illegally and gets hiptossed to the substaging. Kamala runs in, he charges and gets backdropped to the floor. Mero collapses under the weight of Kamala. Mero drags himself to his corner and tags in The Godfather.

With all three men stunned on the floor, Godfather gets a running start and suicide dives from the ring to the floor. That's a 320 pound man, who's never been athletic in his life hitting a suicide dive. And it didn't suck either.

With four men down on the floor, Godfather and the three Fanatics brawl. Bob Holly hits a running dive of his own, taking down all four men. Now all five men are brawling, and Mero comes in and hits a flying front flip suicide dive.

All six guys are laid out until Bob Holly and Kamala fight each other back into the ring. Despite his success earlier, Holly is dominated now. A series of high-impact dropkicks and suplexes go mostly unsold. Kamala clubbers and chops Holly down. A running butt splash gets two. Kamala sets Holly up for a toss-up Samoan Drop, but Holly hits him with a Crucifix Bomb. That gets a hella long two count.

Kamala springs back up and belly-to-belly's Holly down. That gets two. Holly gets whipped across, he gets the boots up on a charge. A crossbody from the top is rolled through by Kamala, who hits a picture perfect Samoan Drop. A "Holy Shit" chant breaks out following that. ('Cause it was cool..... :D )

Kamala continues to dominate Holly, his offense is consists of a lot of chops and clubbing blows. He's just stiffing the Hell out of Holly here.

Eventually Kamala bashes Holly over to the stage side, he tries a crescent kick, Holly avoids it and kneelifts Kamala. Kamala has his back to the substage, and he's rocking. Another kneelift almost sends him off. Seconds later Marc Mero would jump up from the substage with a dead vertical leap of fifteen feet and hangman neckbreakers Kamala to the floor. In the immortal words of Joey Styles "OH MY GAWD!!!!

Mero follows that up by throwing Shiek back into the ring. Holly sets up for the Alabama Slam, but Volkoff hits the ring clipping the ankle. Shiek hits a gutwrench suplex for two.

Shiek tries to use his Half-Nelson suplex, but Holly elbows his way out. A knee to the back from Shiek sets up a Volkoff for a neckbreaker. That gets two.

A brief heat segment leads to a Holly comeback. A hurricannranna takes Volkoff down, a spike DDT takes out Shiek. Now Godfather climbs back into the ring. He takes the tag and goes crazy on both men. A series of martial arts kicks and chops takes both men down. Godfather gets The Pimp Drop for a loooooonnnnnggggggg two on Shiek. Volkoff sneaks in the ring, and spikes Godfather with a DDT.

And oh shit, here's Kamala. He gets the tag in and he's all over Godfather. Holly and Mero jump into try to save, and a six-man brawl breaks out.

All six men brawl to a finish, Kamala Samoan Drops Godfather to the floor. Inside, Mero eats a half-nelson suplex/ neckbreaker combination.

Holly tries to play the "man against the world", but, after hitting a good series of moves, eats a stiff African Spike for the three.

Douglas follows up on his advantage by tossing Mikey to the sub-stage. He busts Mikey up on the floor, sending him hard into the ring apron. He tosses Mikey back in and continues to work him over.

Douglas hits a big jumping knee to the face for two. Mikey tries to make a comeback, but is unable to sustain a major burst of offense.

Mikey gets the advantage back with a kick to the injured ribs, Douglas tries to escalate the violence of the match with a chair but Mikey continues to go to the ribs. When given the chance Mikey refuses to use the chair.

"I won't win this way!"

Douglas takes advantage with a lowblow. A double lung-buster gets two. A reverse vertical suplex gets two. Douglas tries a German suplex, Mikey blocks it and hits a jumping overhead kick.

Mikey gets a snap-suplex, and hits a bridging German suplex for two. Mikey gets up and tries another one but Douglas flips out over the back. Mikey charges and gets drop toe-holded into the corner.

Douglas tries to roll away. Mikey gets a running baseball slide dropkick. Mikey sets up Douglas for a double-stomp, but Douglas gets the chair up in time. Mikey's balls go inside his shell. Douglas rolls him up for two.

Now Douglas seems to be in complete control; a Douglas-Driver gets a looooooooonnnnnnnnngggggggg two. Mikey kicks out, but Douglas is still in complete control. He drags Mikey up to the top rope. Mikey fights his way out. A floatover DDT is blocked. Douglas hits a Douglas-Driver off the top. That only gets two. Douglas is at a loss, he stands up shaking his head and holding his re-injured ribs. He rolls to the floor and grabs the AFWL title belt. He rolls back inside. Mikey stands back up, but he's got his back turned. Douglas waylays him with the belt for the pin.

Holy shit........

Douglas just won the AFWL title.

Special Dream Match- One Night Only Match

Six-Man Tag-Team Championship- Giant Iron Man/Demigoblin/Mr. Sinister deaf. The Foreign Fanatics © (NO CHANGE)

- Sinister, Demigoblin, and Iron Man are from my old-school X-Dimension Wrestling federation. If you're lucky old Tempest McAwesome might post some of those results. They include matches with G.I. Joe figures, 12-Inch Marvel Heroes, and the headless and left-armless corpse of William Regal.

- Anyway, the match starts off quite quickly. Iron Man smashes his way through Shiek and Volkoff in the early going. Shiek tries to attack the legs, but Iron Man picks him up and simply presses him to the floor. Volkoff is able to come from behind with a kneelift that sends Iron Man smashing to the floor. Behind the referees back Sheik hits Iron Man with a chair. A lotta good that'll do.....

Iron Man powers his way through a short heat sequence, he tags into Sinister. Sinister hits the ring and quickly takes over on everyone. When he tries to chokeslam Shiek, Volkoff chopblocks the knee. Now Kamala catches a tag. He runs in and tries to over power Sinister with his usual. Some of it works, but Sinister is able to tag out. Demigoblin hits the ring, he smashes the Hell out of Kamala, even hitting a Dr. Death style powerslam for two. That's too close of Sheik and Volkoff and  they run in. A six-man brawl erupts. Iron Man gets tagged in, he's the legal man. He sets up Kamala for a superplex. Kamala shoves him off and hits The African Spike off the tope rope that only gets two.

The finish comes when Sheik hits the ring illegally, bashing Iron Man with a chair, until its broken to pieces. This blatant attack draws the disqualification.

Winners: The X-Dimension Possee (NO CHANGE)

- Mikey and Douglas dominate the two newbs from the outset. Gargoyle Warrior is returning here (his last match was as part of the Doomsday/Rhino team in the six-man tag-team tourney) and looks good for the most part, and Murdoch is a redneck brawler who's normally quite dominant- but Mikey and Douglas are too focused to be beat. They seem to be on the same page for the entire match. Douglas is the victim of an extremely brief heat sequence. Mikey gets the tag in, but Douglas blasts him with the title belt

HEEL TURN ALERT

Moments later, Mikey falls victim to a combination chopblock, STO for the pin.

AFWL Tokoyo Dome Doubleshot- Night 1

The AFWL Goes to Japan!!!!

- The music of Barry Whendam hits to open the show. The Japanese crowd goes crazy for him in spite of his pro-American music. He gets on the microphone as the Japanese crowd chants his name and states simply "I've gotta surprise for you...."

Barry now tosses Anderson back inside. He drops several elbows to the lower back. Barry gets a gutwrench suplex and follows that up with a backbreaker out of a backsuplex position. That gets two.

Anderson stomps the crook of the arm, going back to his original gameplan.  He hammerlocks Barry and throws him arm first into the corner. He gets a hammerlock back-suplex for two.

Anderson tries to go back on the attack, but Barry punches him in the gut and DDT's the shit out of him. Barry stalks Anderson, a smirk comes across his face. As Anderson rises Barry tries for a lariat. Anderson kicks him and drops him with a double-arm DDT to counter.

Anderson now pulls Barry up. He sets him up on the top rope. A superplex attempt is blocked. Barry hits one of his own, and rolls an arm over for a looooooonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg two. The crowd totally bought that as the finish.

Both men come back to their feet slugging it out. Every time Anderson slugs, his back hitches. Barry begins to take over, but his arm is becoming more injured after every punch.

Out of nowhere Anderson gets a kick to the knee and spikes Barry with a DDT. That gets two.

Both men come back to their feet, they're both slugging again. Barry gets a knee to the gut. Barry tries for a lariat, but Anderson ducks and backslides him. Barry rolls through and charges forward again. This time Anderson successfully hits the spinebuster. THAT ONLY gets two.

Raven takes control with his usual corner clothesline spot.

Raven picks up Bomb and drops him with a running bulldog, that gets two. With Bomb down Raven grabs a chair. Other Notes:

- Everyone jumped on 'Taker/Giant as they stepped into the ring. Everyone, heel or face took it to both men for several minutes before breaking off into an every man for themself brawl.

- Homer Simpson was somehow able to power The Giant with an overhead T-Bone suplex. That took so much out of Homer that a single clothesline from Scott Steiner sent him out.

- Test and Tomko isolated 'Taker for a bit. But they were unable to eliminate him.

- Sargeant Slaughter was eliminated by Trevor Murdoch and Gargoyle Warrior.

- Duke was able to get a running knee in the corner, but Undertaker caught him and tossed him.

Insider Notes:

QUOTE

- As of this writing Animal is still employed by the AFWL. Despite recent persistent rumors of his eventual firing, the AFWL was impressed by his Tokoyo match with Kamala. They feel he did the job and made Kamala look like a star leading to his title match.

- Akeem may be let go soon. He's gained a ton of weight, and he and Hasbro Bossman haven't clicked as a team in recent times. There's a feeling that Akeem isn't needed for anything but enhancement talent.

- There are no plans for the Miracle Jobber Connection to regain the 6-Man Titles any time soon.

- Arn Anderson is pushing for a reformation of the 4-Horseman. Ric Flair is waiting in the wings to return, Benoit is on the shelf but should be back soon, and Wendham is a face now.

- Michaelangelo is going to take some time off. He's been working over time in recent weeks to go out on a high note. The AFWL is granting him time off, on the promise that he'll return and feud with Kamala. Whether this is a title feud or not is still up in the air until the second Tokoyo Dome night.

- The AFWL is impressed with Adam Bomb. They feel his match with Raven was essentially his "breakout" match, and now he has the potential to work on that same level for now on.

- Expect a small push for Ken Shamrock very soon. He's returning from a minor injury and is expected to be programmed for a feud with Test.

- Kurrgan has been championing for himself a mid-card push. The reaction is mixed, but mostly negative.

Tokoyo Dome Double Shot- Night Two

Gargoyle Warriror/Trevor Murdoch deaf. The Brooklyn Brawler/George "The Animal" Steele

Pretty basic tag match; Brawler and Steele control from the outset with a series of bland face work. A double-suplex takes Gargoyle down. Brawler and Murdoch become the legal men. They brawl and hammer each other all around the ring. Murdcoh knocks Brawler down and hits a running knee to the face as he's standing back up. Gargoyle gets a tag in and works him over some more. A series of a few power moves get a couple two counts. Gargoyle misses a flying crossbody attempt, and Brawler fights his way back into it. He gets a piledriver on Gargoyle and dives for the tag. Murdoch comes in and tries to stop it. Brawler avoids a knee drop and makes the tag.

Steele hits the ring with his usual. He smashes Murdoch into the buckle before ripping it off and eating the stuffing; the usual Steele spots. Gargoyle tries to make the save but Steele feeds him some more tasty turnbuckle. At this point Brawler comes in for a four-way brawl to the finish.

Eventually Gargoyle crossbodies Steele to the floor. A series of manauevers ends with the Brawler eating a stiff DDT. Murdoch finally finishes him with a running knee to the temple.

Winner: Gargoyle Warriror/Trevor Murdoch

Massacre deaf. Wolverine

- For those that don't know Massacre is a light-heavyweight martial arts master. He wears arm gauntlets and heavy iron boots which help to augment his finisher- the double stomp. I'd show you a picture, but I can't find one online.

On to the match; both men circle each other to start. They feel each other out a bit with some striking attacks, but its nothing devastating yet.

Massacre makes the first big move, kicking away at Wolvie's left leg. He takes him down and works it over. A series of hard leg kicks begins to knot up the thigh. He works it over some more on the mat. Wolverine tries to make a comeback after out wrestling Massacre and getting back to a standing position. A series of karate blows leads to a couple two counts. Wolverine regains control with some kicks, but the leg is too injured to continue going and he collapses in pain. Massacre tries for a Double Stomp to the head, but Wolverine avoids. He follows that up by monkeyflipping him to the floor. A suicide plancha takes Massacre out.

Wolverine tosses him back inside and snaps off a suplex, he rolls through and continues, hitting four more. Wolverine pulls Massacre back up and hits several devastating kicks to the chest. He's shaking off the injury with the help of his mutant healing powers.

Massacre, seeing his advantage slipping away dives and begins to attack the legs. Wolverine counters a series of leglocks with a series of pinning combinations. Both men go through a long series, Massacre comes back to his feet first. He attempts a double stomp, and Wolverine counters it by flipping Massacre over. Massacre does a complete backflip and lands on his feet, Wolverine comes back to his feet and charges in hard, but gets caught and Northern light suplexed into the buckles.

That only gets two. As Wolverine comes back to his feet Massacre simply spikes him with a backdrop driver. (Hey, that was pretty daaaaaangggggerrrroooouuuussssss!!!!)

Massacre plays to the crowd, (those crazy Japanese sure do like their head dropping) and hits two more for the abrupt pin.

Winner: Massacre

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan deaf. Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw

The Japanese crowd shits all over this match in a way only they can; they stay completely silent. Duggan tries to do his "USA HOooooooooooooooo!" schtick  to absolutely NO reaction. Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw does his crappy heel work and doesn't garner a single boo.

Duggan slugs away from the outset. He clotheslines Bradshaw a few times, knocks him down with a flying clothesline. A bodyslam and an Old Glory Kneedrop finishes it.

Winner: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan

Post Match: Tyson Tomko debuts and boots Hacksaw's head off. (literally, I like need to buy a new figure now.... oops.... :o)

- Its this point in the night that the show is interrupted by a rumbling that shakes the building. There's a very well known roar. Godzilla storms into the buidling scaring off everyone and ending the show early, he rips the roof off like a hungry fat guy opening a sardine can.

- That can't be good......

QUOTE

- Fear not loyal viewers/readers, the AFWL is going to finish out their promised schedule come Hell, Godzilla, or high water.

So, for one extra night we're back in the wrecked Tokoyo Dome ready to put on the best show possible. And now its a stadium show (no roof- yay!).

Tokoyo Dome Double Shot- Night 3 (yeah, that's not a typo)

Money Inc. (Ted Dibiase, IRS) deaf. The Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty)

Its your typical Rockers junk to start, as they out manauever IRS and Teddy to start. A series of double-dropkicks take Irwin out. A double hiptoss and a double snap-suplex takes out Teddy. Its now that Money Inc bail to the floor, a double running dive takes both guys out.

Back inside and Jannetty is hammering Irwin with a series of dropkicks and generic "Jannetty-style" offense. Eventually Irwin takes over when Jannetty misses a charge into the corner. Ted gets the tag in and begins to work over Marty's now injured ribs. A hard whip (complete with the traditional Jannetty oversell, natch) gets two.

Now the heels take over. Some boring rib attacks from Irwin gets a series of short two-counts. Dibiase comes back in and hits a back-suplex and gets a second-rope fist drop. Ted tries a second one, but Jannetty avoids it. Ted pops up selling the hand, and, in an amusing moment, sells it even more when he tags IRS. IRS hits the ring and hammers away some more.

Eventually Jannetty gets a Russian legsweep off of a backdrop attempt. Jannetty tries to make a comeback, but can't get anything going. A series of dropkicks only gets two. A headscissor takes Irwin down for a long two. Eventually Irwin tries for the tag, Jannetty grabs for the tie- But its a clip-on so Irwin makes the tag.

Jannetty at the same time rolls to his corner and tags in Michaels. Michaels is in like a house of fire with his usual stuff. A series of flying forearms take Tddy and Irwin down. Jannetty tags himself back in, and hits a double flying crossbody from the top. A double super-kick knocks Dibiase to the floor.

For the finish Michaels Sweet Chin Music's Jannetty's Head Off (not literally this time, though).

IRS drops an elbow and pins him in short order as Shawn sits on the top rope smirking.

Winners: Money Incorporated

Post Match: Dibiase takes the stick and declares that the Million Dollar Corporation is back in business. King-Kong-Bundy, Viscera, Trevor Murdoch, Gargoyle Warriror, and Bam-Bam-Bigelow hit the ring.

"But that's not all. I'm expanding my business internationally....."

The drums toll, and they beat as the tribal yelling hits the system. Kamala, Iron Sheik, and Nikolai Volkoff hit the ring. Shiek walks up to Dibiase and shakes his hand.

"We might not speak the same language, but money always speaks louder than words."

As the newly reformed Corporation bask in the boo's of the crowd Jannetty runs back in and attacks them with a chair, but he gets beaten down. A Kamala toss-up Samoan Drop and an African Spike end his night.

Loser Buys Drinks For The Locker Room Match- Homer "Duff Lover" Simpson deaf. Scott "Did I Blow A .08?" Hall

- Both men go nose to nose to start. Hall controls in the early going with punches. He slugs Homer all around the ring. He pounds away with a bunch of bland moves (bodyslams, suplexes, etc.). Eventually Homer makes a comeback with his Bobby Lashley style moveset. He T-Bones Hall and hammers away with some big running clotheslines and high-impact moves. A couple overhead belly-to-belly suplexes get two. Homer hammers Hall to the floor with a trapped-arm T-Bone suplex. As Homer waits in the ring Hall recovers and tries to walk away.

Keeping up the advantage, Homer gets a  running suicide dive to the substage taking Hall down. On the floor Homer continues with more T-bones and belly to belly's. Back inside Home tries to spear Hall in half, but Hall moves and Homer hits the buckles pretty hard. A top-rope belly to back almost ends Homer's night.

Hall continues to hammer away, and a fallaway slam gets two. Hall now attempts a snake eyes into a wall. Homer slips out and nails a German suplex which sends Hall into a complete backflip. Homer follows that up with a spear, but Hall catches him with a boot.

The finish comes when Hall gets Homer into the Razor's Edge. Homer walks the ropes and cradles Hall to counter (just like Bret/Razor from King Of The Ring 1993.)  but Razor kicks out. As he comes back to his feet, Homer simply rips him in half with a running spear. A doublstomp to the head ends Hall's night mere moments later.

- Hall's buyin' drinks for everyone on the AFWL crew.

Winner: Homer Simpson

Post Match: Diesel makes his return to the AFWL, booting Homer in the head and Jacknifing him.

AFWL- Tag-Team Championship- The Steiner Brothers © deaf. The Undertaker/The Giant

Scotty and 'Taker start off, they hammer each other a bunch. The bigger, stronger, and harder hitting 'Taker takes over. He hammers Scott in the corner. A running clothesline takes him down. Scotty fights back, trying to target the legs, but 'Taker constantly rebuffs him with power stuff. Eventually Scott takes over with some suplexes and power stuff, but 'Taker keeps hammering and slugging his way back into it. Eventually Rick Steiner is tagged in against The Giant. They brawl with the faster Rick out-manauevering The Giant with a quick series of moves. He kicks away at the legs, trying to eliminate his vertical base. But it still isn't working. Eventually the plan starts to work when The Giant tries a chokeslam, but Scotty runs in and chopblocks the leg.

Now The Steiners get a long heat sequence on The Giant. His size is the only reason they can't seem to finish him off, as neither Steiner can get their suplexes on him. An uncharacteristic mat attack leads to The Giant actually out-wrestling Scotty and tagging in 'Taker.

'Taker comes in with an oddly babyface style hot tag. He punches away on both guys. A running boot knocks Rick to the floor. The Giant comes in to help 'Taker get a boot off a snake eyes; The Giant handles the snake-eyes part, and ducks under a boot that knocks down Scotty. Moments later Rick gets goozled. He struggles and kicks The Giant's injured leg and hits him with a sick overhead belly-to-belly suplex.

The finish comes when 'Taker pounds his way out of a Steiner-Bulldog attempt. He boots Rick off, and tries for a Last Ride on Scotty. From behind Arn Anderson runs in and gets a spinebuster on 'Taker. Scotty collapses on top for the cover and the three.

Winners And Still Tag-Team Champions: The Steiner Brothers

Intercontinental Title Battle Royal

Winner: Diesel, last eliminating Tyson Tomko with help (and a chair) from Scott Hall.

Other Notes:

- The Match is a twenty-man brawl from the outset featuring basically the entire mid-card roster.

- Tyson Tomko was an absolute BEAST. He eliminated Whiplash, Massacre, Sargeant Slaughter, Test, Matt Morgan, Duke, X-Men's Collussus, Mr. Perfect, Hasbro Mr. Perfect, Hasbro Bossman, along with a few others.

- The finish comes when Diesel and Tomko go face to face. Scott Hall runs in and bashes Tomko with a chair to the back of the head and Diesel tosses him easily.

AFWL Heavyweight Title- Kamala deaf. Shane Douglas ©

This match is a brawl from the outset. Douglas comes out swinging, he chairs Kamala several times and hits a running diving chairshot. Nothing really works, as Kamala continues to no-sell all of the early abuse.

Eventually Kamala hammers Douglas down and begins to work over the ribs. Several well placed shots put Douglas at an early disadvantage. His punches lack their usual uhh, punch.

Kamala continues pouring on the abuse with a bearhug. Douglas tries to punch his way out, but Kamala holds on and shakes him violently. Douglas' feet aren't even touching the ground as his body begins to go lifeless. Suddenly Douglas gets a massive burst of energy biting his way out. Kamala drops him as blood begins to flow from his nose. Douglas dims Kamala's running lights with a sick chair shot and a belly-to-belly suplex. That combination gets a looooooonnnnnnnggggggg two. Douglas now, desperate to keep the advantage pulls Kamala to the side of the stage. A Douglas Driver practically kills the big African.

Douglas rolls Kamala back inside and gets a shockingly short two count. Douglas now goes back to the chair, he pildrives Kamala onto it. That gets one. A DDT almost puts Kamala out, but it doesn't.

Douglas now pulls Kamala up. He muscles him up onto his shoudlers screaming he simply collapses under the weight. Kamala follows that up with a splash for two. Kamala now whips Douglas into the corner. A crescent kick puts him down. Kamala nearly ends Douglas' night with a running butt splash. Douglas kicks out and struggles back up to his feet. A toss-up Samoan is countered with a crucifix bomb. Douglas screams and pulls Kamala up, and powers him up to his shoulders. Kamala eats a G2S (Go 2 Sleep) knee out of a fireman's carry position.

Douglas now heads outside and picks up another chair. He sets them both up together and muscles Kamala up to the top. Somehow, someway Douglas is able to Death Valley Drive Kamala from the top- onto the chairs..

THAT ONLY GETS TWO.....

Douglas is up, and he's almost in tears.

Douglas rolls to the floor and grabs the AFWL belt. A beltshot gets a short two. Douglas tries to set up the chairs again, he hammers Kamala from time to time as he stuggles slooooowly to set up the chairs. As he turns to go back on the attack, Douglas eats an African Spike. But Kamala doesn't bother to cover. Instead he drags Douglas up to the top and sets up a Samoan Drop.

No, God, don't do it...... :D

Yep, Kamala KILLS Douglas with a top-rope Samoan Drop for the academic pin.
