Dark Match: Jerry Lynn vs. Austin Lee-Lynn wins (47/44/62)
Canes & Chairs vs. Lords of the Ring & Ken KennedyThe show starts with the Canes & Chairs (The Sandman, Balls Mahoney & Axl Rotten) waiting in the ring, weapons in hand. Kennedy's music blares, and
Joel Gertner makes his way to the ring. Gertner starts to introduce Kennedy, but The Sandman scares him out. Gertner runs up to the entrance and does the introduction from there. Kennedy rolls his eyes at Gertner. He walks to the ring and before he can get in the Sandman is swinging the cane. Kennedy walks back up with Gertner and pats him on the back, with a "Don't blame ya" look. Out comes LOTR and we have a match. The match starts and goes for about 10 minutes before the Canes & Chairs actually start using the Canes & Chairs. The ref wants to ring the bell, but The Sandman stops him, and explains that calling the match By DQ equals getting a cane upside the head. The ref shrugs and lets the assault continue.
It ends when Kennedy & Gertner leave, and Balls & Axl hit their finishers on LOTR.
WINNERS: Canes & Chairs (62/67/71)
Chad Collyer vs. William RegalThe match is the blowoff to their feud over who is the better technical wrestler. Before the match starts, the ref checks both men and finds Regal's knucks in his boot. Regal is outraged, but the crowd loves it Regal dominates the early going, but Collyer makes a MASSIVE comeback. The two drag it on the mat and the crowd is GLUED to what goes on. Regal gets a moment, and attempts the Regal Stretch, but Collyer gets the ropes. Regal lets go and gets frustrated. He reaches into his tights and pulls out ANOTHER set of knucks. He swings for Collyer, who ducks and hits an STO. Collyer then rolls Regal into a Texas Cloverleaf. Regal goes for the ropes, but Collyer drags him out and Regal is forced to tap.
WINNER: Chad Collyer (76/87/82)
Friday Night will be a real MassacreJames Mitchell is backstage with
Abyss. He challenges Sabu to a match Friday night for the Extreme World Championship. It will be Abyss' chance to prove that
he is the true Sucidal, Homicidal, Genocidal Maniac. (72)
NWA Midwest X Division Championship Match-Matt Striker vs. HomicideStriker makes his way to the ring alone. He's wearing some simple trunks. Homicide's entourage starts in. B-Boy is first, holding the X Division Title above his head. Blackout is behind him, holding the crowd back while Homicide makes his way to the ring. The crowd boos when Homicide gets in Striker's face. The two lock up, and Striker surprises Homicide with some strong offense. Homicide is a bit stunned, and rolls out of the ring. B-Boy talks to him for a minute (And I don't know why, B-Boy hasn't won anything in a while) and Homicide rolls back in. Homicide takes over the match from this point. Striker makes a comeback, and nearly hits the Overdrive, but B-Boy hits Striker with the X Division belt. The ref calls the match. Striker's on the mat, and Homicide is pissed at the ref. He hits the Cop Killa on the ref before holding the belt over Striker and yelling at him.
WINNER: Matt Striker via DQ (63/72/72)
Raven vs. Perry SaturnRaven comes out ready to go. Saturn comes out and doesn't waste time by clobbering Raven. The two BRAWL. And I mean BRAWL across the entire arena. The fans are going nuts. Saturn hits some high risk maneuvers, but doesn't go for the pin. They make it back to the ring and Raven takes over after a drop toe hold onto a chair. After that, Raven hits the Evenflow for the victory.
WINNER: Raven (67/80/66)
After the match, Raven leans against the ropes to catch his breath. He misses
Jeff Jarrett walking out of the crowd with a guitar. Jarrett slides into the ring. Raven turns around and
EL-KABONG! NWA Midwest Tag Team Championship Match-The Naturals vs. The British Invasion They show a brief video of the feud while they bring out the ladders. The Naturals come out first. The Brits come out and the ref asks for the belts. The Brits tell him to piss off. They don't trust the ref, so they put the belts up on their own. They make sure the belts are secure, and once they seem satisfied, the Naturals push them off the ladder onto the top rope. That's right, the match has just started and someone has
already been crotched. The Naturals are working well as a team, and the Brits are doing good at taking a beating. Jim Cornette starts to get involved, and Harry Smith comes out to help the Brits. He costs them the match, though, as he runs into a ladder while Nigel is reaching for the belts. Nigel falls, and while Smith is checking on McGuinness, Chase Stevens pulls down the straps.
WINNERS: NEW Tag Champions The Naturals (81/85/95)
Payback...Jeff Jarrett is backstage. He admits that he's the man that was paying people to attack Raven. And he's in Midwest to get his revenge on Raven. (For What???) (91)
NWA Midwest Championship Match-LAST MAN STANDING-Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle Benoit holds his belt in Angle's face. Joey Styles informs us that this is Kurt Angle's last chance at the NWA Midwest Championship as long as Benoit holds it. Both guys are AMAZING in the ring, and neither holds back. Angle spends most of the match trying to work the ankle. Benoit works the arms. The match seems to go on forever, but not in the bad way. Angle gets Benoit to tap, but it doesn't matter. Benoit tries to stand and the ref gets to 6 before Benoit is actually on his feet. Benoit continues to work the arms, and the strategy begins to show when Angle can't apply the Ankle Lock successfully because of it. Angle tries for an Angle Slam and can't hit it. Benoit slaps on a Crossface, and Angle taps. Benoit steps away and Angle makes it to 8. Benoit's strategy is starting to work as Angle having a hard time pulling himself up because of his weakening arms. Angle evades a 10 count by rolling out of the ring and landing on his feet. Benoit hits a suicide dive and Angle is down outside. Angle pushes himself up to a seated position, but can't pull himself up because of Benoit's arm work. The fans reach over the railing to try and help Kurt, but it's too little too late as Benoit gets the win.
WINNER: NWA Midwest Champion CHRIS BENOIT (80/90/88)
