Yeah, I know everyone here has been busy lately, so the board has been dead. In the deadness I reached out to some other boards, just looking to keep myself entertained and such on the internet. After traveling, my conclusion is that DWB is still the best wrestling board I've been a part of, even while it's slow.

Any thoughts?

Well ya' know something, Rowe-dude, everybody knows that DWB is the strongest force in the universe and is where the power lies.

We're definitely not a top-shelf board, but I like our goofy little group. I kinda' know what responses certain topics will ellicit from certain members.

We don't have annoying moderators/dictators, no mindless marks (well, at least on topics NOT related to Samoa Joe) and no assholes. We also don't seem to have the dorks who like to dissect each post and pick it apart with contradictions and facts (well... okay, I don't do it too much).

I'd rather babble about stuff HERE than anywhere else.

It has been dead lately. Finals were getting the best of me, but now that I'm done I may be a little more active. Hopefully it will pick up after the Holidays and such when everyone isn't so busy...

Yeah, my ill feelings for TSM have died down greatly, but I still wouldn't go around saying nice things about it either.

I have no ill feelings for them, but the board sucks. Period.

My thoughts about the place have sunk lately. Especially after the "AJ-The Gay Community" thread. Nothing he said seemed homophobic to me. Just like he was shocked. And suddenly he's on a street corner holding a "God hates Fags" sign.

I started reading that thread about AJ and the gay community, and absolutely nothing was making sense so I escaped before my intelligence started dropping.

I've been enjoying the video games folder there lately though.

AJ cut a promo several years ago where he said fag. Couple that with him being Southern, and suddenly he's ready to decapitate all living homosexuals.

That's the thing about online wrestling fans. They get suddenly self righteous whenever a wrestler they are backlashing against does or says something like this. They turn into religion freaks over HBK teaming with God, civil rights activists whenever Muhammad Hassan or Rodney Mack does something offensive, or the bearers of good taste whenever WWE does a sex-related angle. I mean, I tend to agree with them for the most part, but they sound like a bunch of house wives sometimes.

I found it ironic because the same people who bashed him for being homophobic were being bigoted about Christianity.

Things like that annoy me. If you're going to be "tolerant," you have to be tolerant of EVERYTHING. Not just other tolerant people.

Sorry, but the constant mis-use of plurals and possessives on the Internet really ticks me off. Not to mention stupid contraction mis-use, like the brain dead "could of" phrase. It's spreading, as local papers often print those same mistakes.

And yeah, my aunt is the editor of her town paper, the Cleveland Daily Banner, better known as the Cleveland Daily Blunder. She gets irate when they let shit like "could of" pass through. She's done a lot of work since she became editor to try and improve the grammar skills of the people underneath her
