Title: OAO Clash of the Champions Press Conferences
Mad Dog - October 21, 2006 04:54 PM (GMT)
NWA: Mexico president Mad Dog walks up to the podium.
Mad Dog: Welcome. We're proud to have the other members of the NWA coming to our city and putting on one of their super shows. This thread will be for the other members to post press conferences for the matches and hype up the show in general. Thank you for coming.
Mad Dog - October 21, 2006 05:06 PM (GMT)
Juventud Guerrera and Psychosis sit down at the main media table. NWA: Mexico president Mad Dog places the Mexican National Title belt on the podium.
Mad Dog: Thank you for your time today. Since this is a hometown show I'm proud to announce that Psychosis will be getting a shot at the Mexican National Champion Juventud Guerrera. You can now ask them any questions you'd like.
R: Psychosis, did you feel that you're at a disadvantage due to now being on your third potential opponent for this match:
Psychosis: Not at all. In fact I feel that Juventud winning the title actually helps me out. I've fought him dozens of times and know him well unlike Aguayo Jr. So I feel my chances have gone up drastically over the last couple of weeks.
R: Will you be staying in Mexico full time win or lose?
Psychosis: I haven't decided yet. With Central States being on hiatus I might hang around and perform until CSW is back up and running. Mexico will always be special for me.
R: Juventud, what are your feelings on this match?
Juvy: I expect to win. Just look at promotions where we both wrestled for. I was a cruiserweight champion for WCW and the WWE. Psychosis was a lackey for me in both places. I'm just more talented than he is. He's a good wrestler and all but he's not a legend like I am.
R: Those are certainly harsh words.
Psychosis: I guess we'll just see what happens at the show then. I've beaten several legends in my time.
R: Will Perro Aguayo Jr. be getting any rematches if you survive this defense?
Juvy: Kid's going to have to earn one. He's just some snot nosed punk living off of daddy's name as far as I'm concerned.
Psychosis: You bet he will. As a former champion he deserves his return match as soon as possible. In fact if I win the belt I'll defend against him first if he asks me to.
R: Will this be under lucha libre or American rules?
Mad Dog: Good question. I've talked it over with the other promotions and they've agreed to allow this match to be lucha libre rules. So it will be 2 out of 3 falls. Neither of these men wear a mask so those rules won't come into play. Thank you for your time. I'll be back shortly to talk about the invitational battle royal.
Mad Dog - October 21, 2006 05:19 PM (GMT)
NWA: Mexico president Mad Dog holds up a giant check for $100,000.
Mad Dog: This will be for the winner of our invitational battle royal. As you know wrestlers from every NWA member will be taking part. We wish ever...
Just then Randy Orton from Mid-Atlantic walks out and grabs the check.
Orton: Why don't you just hand this over to me now. Everyone here today knows that I'm going to win this thing.
Orton and Mad Dog struggle over the check until Orton decks Mad Dog. Damian 666 and Halloween charge out and double team Orton and take back the check. Seeing their fellow wrestler in trouble Sting, Val Venis, Steven Richards, Ultimo Dragon, Averno and Mephisto storm out and a giant brawl follows.
Out of the carnage NWA New England's Sonny Siaki tries to sneak off with the check but gets blindsided by Ken Kennedy and CM Punk from NWA Midwest. The rest of the members storm the media center and the brawl gets even bigger.
Reporters feel in terror as Rhino Gores Mephisto through the Clash of the Champions display. Steven Richards and Val Venis throw Mick Foley through a glass door. Security tries to break it up with little success.
Claudio Castagnoli almost makes it out of the door but Sting trips him up and drags him back into the room. Sting applies the Scorpion Deathlock until Ultimo Dragon nails him with a kick to the head.
Mad Dog manages to get ahold of the check and flees the scene while the fight continues.

Haha, that was great! My interest in the battle royal just tripled.
I've been hyping the Clash of the Champions within my own shows, but I'll see about a press conference later on, if I get my homework done <_<

New England Wrestling presents the president of NEW, the one and only Ernie Rowe!
Rowe: The Clash of the Champions is one of the biggest shows of the year, and the superstars of New England Wrestling will be there in full force. There is perhaps no biggest star in the world of wrestling than the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and I am proud to say he is also an NEW superstar. Ladies and gentlemen, The Rock!
The Rock comes out and takes the podium.
Rock: Fiiiiinally... The Rock... HAS COME... to Mexico... The Rock has been the NWA World Heavyweight Champion since the Great American Bash, and The Rock has kicked the ass of all challengers. Edge did not stand a chance against The Great One, Chris Jericho choked on the grand stage of Summerslam, and not even the mighty UMAGA could take the NWA Championship from around The Rock's chiseled waist. And now, The Rock comes to Mexico, with the challenger of El Hijo Del Santo, whom The Rock must admit that The Rock does not know too much about. But it DOES NOT MATTER! The Rock will kick El Hijo Del Santo's azucare asno all the way down to Panama, IF YOU SMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL.... what THE ROCK..... is.... COOKING!
Rowe: Thank you, Rock, and good luck with your title defense on Sunday.
