Title: OAO The Office season 3 thread
Real F'n Show - September 22, 2006 01:21 AM (GMT)
Anyone else watch tonight? Hilarious episode where they find out Oscar is gay. Fuck I love this show.
Big F'N Swigg - September 22, 2006 01:31 AM (GMT)
Hilarious, as usual.
I'm so glad they got Ed Helms to work at Jim's new office. That's perfect casting.
Real F'n Show - September 22, 2006 01:43 AM (GMT)
The best was when the brunnette girl he works with is making fun of how he looks at the camera.
And of course, GAYDAR.
Big F'N Swigg - September 22, 2006 01:58 AM (GMT)
OH... GAYDAR... I think they have that at Sharper Image. Lemme check....
No, they're sold out
Big F'N Swigg - September 22, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
Damn double post gremlins
jamiegeist - September 22, 2006 04:40 PM (GMT)
I was smashed last night when I watched it, and FUCK WAS IT FUNNY. I mean, it is fuckin funny regardless. But yeah, a great episode again.
I was pretty shocked to hear that Pam called off the wedding during the break, and even more surprised that Jim did in fact transfer. I really didn't like Jim not being in the office. I want him there, to fuck with with Dwight.
But yeah, the chick at Jim's new office showing his look at the camera was fuckin great. The show loses a bit of its required suspension of disbelief with camera's now at Jim's new office. Are they part of the little documentary or whatever reason it is that the camera's are around?
Big F'N Swigg - September 22, 2006 04:56 PM (GMT)
I would assume they're with Jim because the producers of the Documentary want to see if anything happens between Pam and Jim.
And man, did the chick licking the hand sanitizer freak me out
Real F'n Show - September 22, 2006 05:11 PM (GMT)
She's a hardcore alcoholic. There's alcohol in hand sanitizer. At least that's the way I interpreted it...
Big F'N Swigg - September 22, 2006 06:39 PM (GMT)
I know, but it still freaks me out
Real F'n Show - September 25, 2006 02:29 AM (GMT)
The teaser for this week's show has Jim returning to Scranton...
Big F'N Swigg - September 25, 2006 02:42 AM (GMT)
I'm so glad no one saw how I reacted to that.
And so glad that there aren't really giant Milwaukee's Best Light cans
Big F'N Swigg - September 29, 2006 03:39 PM (GMT)
"I love inside jokes. I hope to be in one someday"
eStragand - September 29, 2006 03:40 PM (GMT)
Watched last night's episode (9/28) with the convention in Philly.
Hit too close to home... I use HammerMill paper on a daily basis and Michael's party was too realistic. ALL the sales reps at my company travel to conventions and put on identical "parties". Too funny.
Jim saying: "I saw Dwight and remebered all those pranks I pulled on him..and I felt petty and immature. And then he spoke..."
Big F'N Swigg - September 29, 2006 03:45 PM (GMT)
Real F'n Show - September 29, 2006 04:44 PM (GMT)
"Why do they call him the Bus?"
"Because he doesn't like to fly."
Real F'n Show - October 6, 2006 03:32 AM (GMT)
Man, tonight's episode was great. Jim and Call of Duty was pretty fuckin' funny.
jamiegeist - October 6, 2006 06:01 AM (GMT)
The whole fuckin thing.
"You can hug it out, bitch"
Fuckin great!!! This show is genius.
And Michael being all psycho about Dwight's Dentist, Mr. Crentist...that shit was awesome.
eStragand - October 6, 2006 06:06 AM (GMT)
Another obesessive online game? Less than 24 hours after South Park? It was still funny on "The Office", but that must be the trendy comedy topic of the season.
When Michael got the call from his boss about Dwight: "whoa..you were at the dentist?"
I wanna' stick my tubesteak in Girl That Sits Behind Jim.
Oh yeah, "My Name is Earl" absolutely stunk tonight.
Big F'N Swigg - October 6, 2006 01:27 PM (GMT)
I thought both Earl and the Office were a little off tonight.
It may just be that my expectations are a little high, though
eStragand - October 13, 2006 03:54 PM (GMT)
Good stuff last night (10/12). Or, if you're reading this in the FUTURE, it'd be "the episode on Earl where Ethan meets the cat-lady and the episode on The Office with the dead bird". (BTW..hello to the future from us here in the past! Hope the apes are benevolent dictators)
Michael's sorrow ball was great.
"My cousin, Mustafa, died. Trampled to death by wildebeests"
"I'm sorry. Do you want to talk about that?"
"Oh no..it'd probably take about an hour and a half"
Real F'n Show - October 13, 2006 04:01 PM (GMT)
Somehow I knew that would turn into Weekend at Bernie's talk. I just knew it. The funeral was pretty great too. And I'll restate how much I want to do Jim's female co-worker.
Big F'N Swigg - October 13, 2006 05:19 PM (GMT)
Honestly, Jim's co-worker really screws up my wanting to see Jim and Pam together
eStragand - October 13, 2006 05:35 PM (GMT)
Gee. Maybe that's why she was added to the subplot? Jim will eventually turn down the hotter chic and rightfully end up with Pam. It'll make it all the more "awww, shucks" for ya'. Just some soap opera stuff to string ya' along.
Dwight picking off the ball was great. "I have the strength of a grown man...and a little baby"
I couldn't tell if Dwight was serious about some of his participation, or if he was just going along with the absurdity of the whole thing like Pam was.
"I'm going down to the warehouse!"
Big F'N Swigg - October 13, 2006 07:20 PM (GMT)
The thing is, though, that if he picks Pam over the new chick, I would actually like him less because of it.
eStragand - October 20, 2006 03:28 PM (GMT)
"..and now...you must wrestle my cousin, Moze!!"
"Only 364 more days until the next Pretzel Day"
Big F'N Swigg - October 20, 2006 04:05 PM (GMT)
My God... Stanley looked like a kid at Christmas over those pretzels
Real F'n Show - October 20, 2006 04:27 PM (GMT)
Dammit I missed it last night...
Big F'N Swigg - October 20, 2006 04:35 PM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure you can see it on NBC.com
eStragand - October 20, 2006 05:19 PM (GMT)
Forgot to mention that Dwight had a CASKET lined up for Ryan's training! I know I'm not the only one who was drawing Jake Roberts/Warrior comparisons.
Loved how Dwight drives a shitty Camaro and listens to Life of Agony.
Real F'n Show - October 27, 2006 12:39 AM (GMT)
Um...anyone else getting the season premier instead of a new episode?
eStragand - October 27, 2006 05:53 AM (GMT)
Yeah, got the season premiere as well. I hadn't seen it, so I didn't mind.
eStragand - December 1, 2006 04:44 PM (GMT)
"Prison Mike". Is there a brewing subplot where Michael gets in trouble for being a racist? Since his antics led to the Latino guy leaving and now "Mah-tin" the ex-con.
Creed and the paperclips was just WRONG!
Loved Kevin saying "yesss" when his ex-con pick turned out to be right.
Big F'N Swigg - December 1, 2006 04:55 PM (GMT)
Jim pranking Andy was awesome. And the fact that Andy wouldn't let her reply was great
Real F'n Show - December 1, 2006 05:23 PM (GMT)
Wow, Creed and Kevin definately make this show for me. Creed's appearances are always the funniest parts of the show, and Kevin reminds me of a guy I used to work with so I find both hilarious.
Anybody catch the new Scrubs after this? Two of my favorite shows back to back, plus Earl and 30 Rock, which are both decent. What a great 2 hour block...
eStragand - December 1, 2006 05:39 PM (GMT)
I've watched Scrubs before...and while it's allright, the commercials did everything to turn me away from it.
"Earl" had a strong first half, but seemed to peter out towards the end. The chicken pooping went on too long and Catalina's cop incident was just kinda' dumb. Although I did like her go-cart driver's license. I think I still have my "Malibu Go-Cart Racing License" from 1985 somehwere. Crab Man's becoming my favorite character on there, though. ("are you an X-man?")
jamiegeist - December 15, 2006 06:47 AM (GMT)
Holy SHIT was The Office great tonight. Seriously, 20 minutes in, I would've been content if that show ended, cause it was so goddam funny.
I was dying, the whole time. The subtleties of that cast, and the writing, and everything, is just so fucking incredible. Jim's reactions when Karen and Pam were talking for the first time were just awesome.
Everything about that show ruled, but I really would've liked a cliffhangar of a bit more substance on Pam and Jim. Although Jim's little speech pretty much did the trick.
Big F'N Swigg - December 15, 2006 02:59 PM (GMT)
Dwight throwing the cell phone was the icing on the cake
eStragand - December 15, 2006 04:33 PM (GMT)
I agree. That was a knock-out show last night.
Michael: "Christmas is cancelled!"
Jim: "Will they still air...Rudolph?"
"Do I come into your house and take your Hello Kitty backpack?"
Creed taking a toy drive present for himself, without hesitation. Greatness.
eStragand - January 5, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
"let the record show that Dwight K. Schrute is now completely nude and holding a plastic knife to Stanley's throat".
"Is that a Muppet Babies tattoo on your stomach?!"
Big F'N Swigg - January 5, 2007 09:58 PM (GMT)
I loved the scene with Dwight and Pam. It made the whole show.
