Joey Styles: Welcome to the World Trios Tournament announcement show. Over the course of the evening we'll be revealing all 16 teams involved in this special event. With me is my co-host El Hijo Del Santo. He will be providing analysis of the various teams.
Santo: Thank you Joey. I'm very excited about this event. As everyone knows the trios match is the most common match in the lucha libre style. Whoever wins this tournament is going to have a lot of bragging rights.
Styles: That they will Santo. So let's pull the first team out of the hat so to speak. Wow! What a way to start the night off.....
L.A. Par-K

Styles: What do you think of this teams chances.
Santo: They've got to be early favorites for this thing. L.A. Par-K and his clone La Parka II have proven what a great team they are. They could easily be the Mexican Tag Team Champions going into this tournament and for my money L.A. Par-K is the best talent in NWA: Mexico. Though I think Virus could be the downfall of this team. He's a great talent but he's not the calibur of these guys. Other teams will be looking to isolate him a lot. But no one should overlook him as he's a great up and coming star.

Santo: I'm very happy with it. I knew any team with me on it would contend and Ultimo Dragon is just the icing on the cake. I think we could easily take this tournament. Santo: I think these guys have a fairly good chance at winning it all too. All three of them are legit stars. My only question is how Dr. Wagner Jr. will be able to work with these guys. If the teamwork isn't there I think they'll be in a lot of trouble as a team.

Santo: I don't like this team at all to be honest with you. None of these guys have worked together for any extended time and they all have egos. I think Juvy and Fuerza are very talented but I'm not sold at all on Mr. Aguila. I think he'll definately drag this team down unless he shows up with his A game.

Santo: I think this team is a long shot. Dorado and Caras are very green and the Latin Lover is getting up there in years. I would be surprised to see these guys getting past the second round. There are just teams that are too good for them to win.

Plague: Well Rey Misterio was a big star in Mexico before coming to the United States. I think he could beat anyone in NWA: Mexico and anyone being sent from other territories. Jay Lethal and Jimmy Rave are rising stars and a little raw but Misterio's experience will do them a lot of good. I think my team could easily win the whole thing.
