I had the same problem, a new fed just opened in my game. I am pretty sure there is a way to use Arsenic to get any workers from the other fed if you decide that you need them, but I don't know.
Stupid crappy random fake feds.

That could be a real issue as far as trades go. Hopefully we find a way around this. No feds have opened in my game yet.

You can use arsenic to help you get an easy steal. But it means you'd have to have guys on written instead of open contracts. Which is ok.
And we'd accepted the possibility of this last time. They just count as other companies in your territories. So in the game, the other company is putting on shows in Michigan, and maybe Chicago. Because they're Canadian based.

Ah, I feel ya. Hopefully everyone can get back on. A little holdup like this isn't the end of the world, but it is disruptive, this early in the game.
Just out of curiousity, how exactly did you leave your computer in an empty dorm room? And how do you propose to recover that info?
