Kojima vs. Booker T

Booker T comes into the match a little out of his element, as he's never wrestled nor seen Kojima. Boooker takes it very soft in the early going, but he regrets it as Kojima is heavy on the offense. And by heavy I mean stiff, and by offense I mean beating.

Booker T is being very defensive, and Kojima doesn't relent. Before Booker knows it, Kojima picks up the win with the Lariat. Kojima helps Booker up. Booker shakes his head in amazement and shakes Kojima's hand.

Masahiro Chono vs. Vader

Chono starts the match out by attempting to overpower Vader. Mistake of the match, let me tell you. Vader clobbers on Chono, and ends up knocking Chono out of the ring. Chono takes this moment to gather himself and re-enter the ring. Vader goes for the power again, but Chono uses the fact that he's faster and more agile to get an advantage.

Vader kicks Chono square in the gut, and tries for a Vader Bomb. Chono punches him in the ear, and Vader drops him. Chono hits the Shining Yakuza Kick for the win.

Christian vs. Colt Cabana

I will first say that I think this would be a match I would LOVE to actually see. He'll, I'd pay really good money to see Christian vs. Cabana. Now for the match.....

Christian and Colt step slowly around the ring. Colt steps backward and Christian stops. They keep doing this for a minute, and Colt is smiling. Christian stops and looks at Cabana befor exclaiming "Can we WRESTLE??" Cabana replies with a "Oh sorry. I just felt like dancing."

The two grapple, and go through a series of reversals. It ends when Cabana gooses Christian. Christian looks at Cabana and says "exit only." Cabana answers with "I wouldn't even try. Cross my heart."

Cabana goes for a lock up and Christian gives him a thumb to the eye. There is some typical Christian offense, including a headlock, and Cabana gets out by goosing Christian. Christian turns around and Colt says "Strike Two?" Christian goes after Cabana and Cabana plays cat and mouse. Christian gets the upper hand for a sec and tries for the Unprettier, which Colt reverses. This reversal allows Colt to throw Christian into the turnbuckle, which allows Colt to hit the Colt 45 for the win.

Jericho vs. Kobashi

Kobashi comes strong. Jericho seems prepared, but not enough, as he's taken to task. Jericho rolls outside the ring and Kobashi follows and throws Jericho into the barrier. Jericho stumbles away, and Kobashi follows. Jericho pulls Kobashi headfirst into the steel steps. The two get back into the ring and Jericho starts with some back work. The two go back and forth until a ref bump and Jericho clobbering Kobashi in the back with a chair setting up for the Walls of Jericho and the win.

Jericho vs. Cabana

Colt is going to take Jericho down.

Colt's gonna be wreckin' his couch!

Hi, I'm a fan at ringside. I'm heckling Jericho, and cheering for Cabana!

Chono vs. Kojima

Kojima comes out with an attack similar to how he beat Booker T. Chono retaliates with a STIFF kick the the ribs. Kojima goes down, but hurries up and backs away. Chono wastes no time in taking the offense in the match. Kojima tries hard, but Chono eventually gets the win.

WINNER: Masahiro Chono

Colt Cabana vs. Chris Jericho

Cabana offers Jericho his hand, and Jericho slaps it away. He points at himself and says "The Future NWA Champion." Cabana smiles and says "Me too!!!" The crowd is fairly strong behind Cabana, and Jericho really lays into them for it. Good heel work. The match is very strong, and either man could pick up the win at any moment....

Cabana throws Jericho into the ropes, and Jericho responds with a springboard elbow. Jericho then goes for the Lionsault, and Cabana rolls out of the way. Cabana goes for the Colt 45, and Jericho reverses it into a school boy, pulling on the tights for the win.

WINNER: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho vs. Masahiro Chono for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship

Jericho offers a hand to Chono. Chono shakes, and Jericho kicks him in the stomach. Chono no sells and then stares Jericho down. Jericho's eyes get as big as golfballs, and he wusses out trying to tell Chono he didn't mean to cheat. Chono has none of it and clobbers Jericho. Jericho rolls out of the ring and tries to strategize. Chono leans over and points in the ring, telling Jericho to get in, which Jericho does. The two exchange blows, and Chono gains a slight advantage because of his power.

Jericho thumbs Chono in the eye and dropkicks him in the knee. Chopping down the tree, as JR would say. Jericho starts working on the knee, and even on the back. It looks as if he's prepping for the Walls of Jericho. Jericho pulls Chono to his feet, and Chono delivers an EVIL palm strike to Jericho.

Chono delivers a creul backbreaker to Jericho. They duel some more, and Jericho actually lays out Chono. He hits the Lionsault, and stands up. He points to the timekeepers table and tells the officials to get his belt ready. He walks over, puffs his chest, and begins to apply the Walls of Jericho. It's at this point that Chono reverses the walls and quickly applies the STF. He is ruthless in his application of the move, and Jericho taps out after a brief struggle.
