Considering his influence on jr style all over the world.........he's in.

whitemilesdavis - June 20, 2005 03:34 PM (GMT)
I would say yes, based on his jr influence and the fact that he was part of one of the top tag-teams in history.

Scrooge McSuck - June 20, 2005 04:51 PM (GMT)
Short and simple: Yes. Reason has already been explained, but I'll regurgitate it... his influence on all Junior Heavyweights should be an automatic, plus the fact he was an awesome wrestler. Sure, he's a bitter old man now, but living your life in a wheel chair because you fucked your body up performing shouldn't be held against him.

Edit: For a minute, I thought the topic said "Dynamite Kido" :P

 Someday I may add a "member" list to the HOF.

I'm still torn on whether or not I should actually vote "yes." Sell me on DK some more :)

His memory lives on in everything Chris Benoit does.

Check. Fucking. Mate.

dynamite kido - June 20, 2005 09:01 PM (GMT)
Everything everyone has every heard or seen about Jr's wrestling in Japan is credited to three people......Tiger Mask.........Jushin Liger.......and Dynamite Kid.

I honestly can't say that I've seen a lot of the British Bulldogs, nor just the Dynamite Kid.

Hopefully you didn't vote no because of this... or I'll hunt you down and eat your liver!

REALLY? I'm surprised about that. Any reasons why you wouldn't vote him in?

Mad Dog - June 23, 2005 11:23 PM (GMT)
I'm iffy on his drawing ability and the fact that almost every junior I've read about attributes Tiger Mask with being their main influence and not never mention him. He's definately in due to ringwork but I'm not sure he measures up in the other aspects.

Benoit is God - June 24, 2005 02:34 AM (GMT)
Who the hell voted no?!

Total no-brainer here. On top of his own greatness, the guy is basically responsible for giving us Bret Hart and Chris Benoit.
