Since the confirmation of their inclusion in the new show, I've wondered how they should be approached. Should they be updated pepper pots with people inside fibreglass cases? Or CGI killing machines? I know that there are so many CGI dalek photos around that they could pick and choose which looks best and go with it (I personally love the spider daleks) But Should they come up with a revised look or go for the traditional, and best known look.

And another thing, does anyone agree that the dalek civil war subplot should be wrapped up and just have one unified Dalek force rampaging around the Galaxy.

Not really thought about it - just hope they dont bring DAVROS back as well.

He was good to start off with but lost his edge etc after RESURRECTION OF THE DALEKS!!!!

Davros could prove to be a problem - while I hope RTD knows that he was superfluous to past Dalek stories, I believe Terry Nation insisted he was in them all post-Genesis of the Daleks.

Perhaps this renegotiation is subject to them having to have him...

I wholeheartedly agree Phillip, davros has been painfully overused, until he almost became a parody of himself in Remmbrance. I truly think what they need is a unified dalek force working with only one goal in mind.... Conquest. That is when they were the most frightening, when they were faceless, merciless killing machines of hate. Not when they had a creator who looked like stephen Hawking on a bad hair day (No offence to Mr hawking). The character only really worked for me in two stories, "Genesis" and "Revelation". Both works of brilliance IMO.

They should have killed the character off in RESSURECTION - the last truely good DALEK story!!!
