Just watched The Fifth Race and all I can say is "whoah!". That's one of the best pieces of sf I've seen in a long time. RDA was superb in it, and the Asgard were very well realised. Very impressed. :thumbsup:

Storywise you can very rarely go wrong with the Asgard, or O'Neil for that matter ;)

Quite surprised they got rid of Apophis in the next episode... or have they...? No! Don't tell me! I'm guessing that this Sokar character is going to become a factor now, though.

It's good, isn't it? I must admit that I picked up the official guides, too, but I much prefer his book, as with the Buffy ones. I wish he'd done the Farscape one, too, cos I think his humour would have suited it. :)

Oh, I've got a bone to pick with Mr Topping about the Buffy guides :)
I do like the unauthorised guides - it allows people to make comments without having to placate TPTB (vis the sychophantic Star Trek Monthly)!
Its only problem is that it's already a year and a half out of date , so when SG-1 finally finishes I'll have to go and buy the whole thing again! :)

I haven't dared to look past season 2 in the book cos I don't want any spoilers. This one goes up to season 6, right? Is it likely he'll just do another volume carrying on from there, like with the more recent Slayer books? Oh, and if you're gonna have a word with him about that, try and get him to do a Farscape one as well! :lol:
