This episode has probably warped me.

I recall seeing it in my young, hormonal years and the idea of being alone with Mrs Peel in some underground room instantly became a dream of mine. Now, when queried about my idea of a romantic situation, I mention an empty room a mile down... and the people stare at me! They're expecting something like a moonlit Pacific island. Sheez!

:lmao:

They keep repeating the colour Avengers. I don`t know why they think we wouldn`t be able to cope with the B+W ones.

It has taken cable television to bring back the old b&w television shows.

I wonder if it has been demonstrated via ratings that a b&w broadcast -- even of a classic & popular show -- loses viewers compared to a color broadcast of anything?

it might be one the reason of black and white film remake

Producers don't seem to need much excuse to remake a film. But, color versions must be high on the list of excuses for a redo.

The B+W Avengers were shown a while ago, I think on late night Channel Four ( a terrestrial channel ). :ponder:
