Despite the premise (the situation of Wilson's girlfriend) I was largely uninvolved during this episode. This was at times so mawkish that even the bettor actors couldn't make it real. And the expected tension between House and Wilson never really materialized (tho, it will no doubt be a factor next season).

I couldn't disagree more, I felt the writers did a good enough job of 'earning' the pain.

What was clear was that in the previous episodes, Wilson had a great relationship with Amber.

I left the end of episode a little sad, isn't that the point of the writing and how it was acted?

a good but sad finale, even if you weren't a fan of Amber, you feel bad for wilson, there will be a lot to go through next season.

not sure about the bus fantasy scene :ermm:

cuddy showed that she really cared for house by the end of the episode (something to be developped :unsure: )

I thought I`d be teary early on with the Amber/Wilson scenes, but I wasn`t all that moved until later on when I got all choked up. :cry:

I kept expecting House to do the usual thing of coming up with a brilliant plan in the last 5 minutes, but nowt. :(

It`ll be interesting to see where Cuddy/House goes next season ( Cuddy asleep at House`s ICU bedside, awww :) ) and House/Wilson, although with House risking his life to try and help Amber, even after she`d been diagnosed, I thought that Wilson was on the way to forgiving him at the end of the episode. . :ponder:

i was expecting house explaining his near death experience early in the season (when amber rescue him) when dream Amber mentionned electricity (but it was just house brain hinting on how get his memory back :rolleyes: )
