Oooh, I didn`t realise it was a two-parter.
 to the Beeb for not showing the trailer at the end of the show and waiting for the credits to run first. :)
Noooo, Good Martha and Evil Martha ! :fear:
I liked how Martha and Donna got on okay rather than being jealous of each other. :)
Heee, Donna demanding a salute.

a more mature new/old companion meeting but then donna is not attracted to the doctor (if you compare to rose vs sarah jane); i like martha /the doctor reunion (an other christmas episode mention with the meeting with the granpa and the mother  , last episode it was the doctor mentionning of finally seeing real snow  )
an ok episode but i hope the second part will be a bit better because evil sat nav :ermm: (like a sat nav telling you go through a river or a cliff never happened in real life  )
i like the idea of evil martha, it's going to be interesting to see how long anyone (ok the doctor) gonna notice the difference

I did wonder if Genius Boy is a Sontaran clone, too. :ponder:

I thought this was a good part one, Martha seems to have grown up a lot since being with the doctor, something we witnessed on Torchwood. I liked the fact she had a civil convo with Donna, it put me in mind of Sarah Jane talking to Rose about how the companion ages and the doctor doesn't. I liked how Martha told Donna to think of her family as well as being with the doctor.
I wasn't expecting the Sontarans to clone Martha even though we had seen a short clip of her clone in the trailers.
I thought the sat nav was an odd idea at first until it showed how the device actually took over the car, that explained how the Sontarans would use peoples cars as a weapon.
Next weeks should be good.

:lmao: @ donna being the one finding a clue (empty sick leave files :ph43r: ) about the all factory while UNIT was still wondering what they were missing, i suppose martha never saw brainwashed (or whatever the sontaran did) people before

I wasn't that bothered about Martha on Doctor Who, but I thought she was good on Torchwood and she worked well here. I like the more mature Martha. And having clone!Martha allows evil!Martha without it being completely OOC.
There's another mention of the Medusa Cascade (in the list of places the Doctor is going to take Donna). That was mentioned in 4x02 and at the end of last year :ponder:
"Getting a bit to close to the 1980s"
"You've saved my life in so many ways"
Do we really need to have flashbacks at episode 4?

Really enjoyed this week's episode - best one of the series so far.
Loved the idea of taking over the world using an evil sat nav and I really liked the Sontaran's as bad guys - much more personailty then the Cybermen.
Nice to see Martha and even better to see an evil clone version of her and I thought Donna was rather good as well. :)
