Pretty decent start to the new season I thought.
Lots of people who I'm sure we'll come to love to hate in no time at all. :)
Not sure about the women in the beret though. :)

no one really stand out in the first job but then i suppose everyone wanna check who is the biggest challenge before really starting to show off
but i guess none of the boys ever went to shop or in a kitchen (or probably kept the info to themselves to have nicholas in trouble  ) because a lobster at 5£
--------
last year candidate, Tre has a column to comment on each week task
week one
prophecy girl - April 3, 2008 08:57 AM (GMT)
Laundry task and the girls failed and even lost two items  , jenny and lucinda have huge issues to resolve before the next task
still at least three of the guys would have been in trouble for taking their sweet time to come back to the work place while the other were working hard
sir Alan could have fired the five of the girls who were b..ching at each other in the boardroom at the same time, now that would have make a shorter season

Poor Simon.
Thats one of the few likeable people in it this year gone.
prophecy girl - April 19, 2008 03:28 PM (GMT)
simon was not a business guy, i think sir alan was right to say that he was good to build/cook stuff but when it come to manage money/people, a totally different story
sir alan annoyed at claire (she will argue even when she is wrong) but decided to make her project manager for next week (i really hope it will be her last task)
alex might have a chance but i don't think he is mature enough
Fangy and grrr - April 24, 2008 07:39 PM (GMT)
Good episode this week.
How Claire's team won I'll never know they were so shambolic. I thought Lucinda was doing so well winning people back and then she had to open her mouth in the boardroom and pi$$ off Helene again.
Hard to see any of them deserving to win at the moment.
prophecy girl - April 25, 2008 09:58 AM (GMT)
i think claire team win because they keep trying to get meeting and didn't offer exclusivity and then having to cancel meeting that could have bring more money but true their tasting group was a bit of a laugh
i like how sir allan move back the discussion on the business when lucinda and else were starting to be more personal (snake like)

Apprentice gets record audience
More than 10 million viewers tuned in to see Sir Alan Sugar choose his next Apprentice - the BBC show's best ever audience since the programme began.
The ratings spike came at the end of the show when recruitment sales manager Lee McQueen, 30, was selected ahead of retail buyer Claire Young.
The show was seen by an average of 8.9 million - 1.4m more than the average audience for last week's edition.
Last year's Apprentice final was seen by an average of 6.8 million viewers.
"Over 10 million people watched the moment when Sir Alan Sugar chose his apprentice," said BBC One controller Jay Hunt.
'Unmissable'
"It's fantastic that a show with business at its heart can become unmissable television for such a large audience."
The Apprentice final trounced its terrestrial competition, attracting more than double the audience of any other programme in its time slot, according to unofficial overnight figures.
Least affected was the Euro 2008 football match between Switzerland and Turkey, which drew a peak audience of 4.7 million on BBC Two. Some 3.1 million saw Britain's Biggest Babies on ITV1, a million more than River Cottage Spring on Channel 4. The Hotel Inspector: Revisited attracted 500,000 to Five.
An average of 4.6 million watched The Apprentice: You're Fired, screened on BBC Two directly after the final.
A third programme, The Apprentice: You're Hired, also performed strongly, with an average of five million viewers tuning in to see McQueen's first interview since his victory.
The Apprentice challenges aspiring entrepreneurs to prove themselves in the world of business in the hope of winning a contract to work alongside Sir Alan.
McQueen's job - which involves launching a digital advertising product for one of the British tycoon's companies - begins on 1 July.
