I might have to catch a rerun ; it clashes with Torchwood and something else which I watch that I can`t remember at the mo.
Bionic Woman ?
I`ll see if I can rearrange my vast Tv watching schedule, `cos I really like Jason Isaacs. :)

That's what the iPlayer is for ;) I've used that thing a ridiculous amount since it launched

It's repeated later that night @ 12:05 and again on Friday @ 10:00pm.
Not used the iPlayer yet I guess with Sky+ plus the way most things are repeated I haven't needed too.

Biographical drama The Curse of Steptoe earned BBC Four its highest ever audience of 1.4 million viewers last night. The opening show in the channel's Curse of Comedy season depicted the on-and-off-screen lives of Steptoe and Son actors Wilfrid Brambell and Harry H Corbett.
With a 6.96% share of viewers at 9pm it attracted nearly eight times the 177,000 (0.93%) slot average. The show was also comfortably above BBC Four's previous high-water mark of 1.09m (5.34%) for Fanny Hill in October.
Curse trounced its multichannel rivals, with only Beverly Hills Cop 3 on ITV2 coming closest. It attracted 389,000 (1.99%), just ahead of 319,000 (1.57%) for E4's Reaper. On BBC Three Freaky Eaters drew 259,000 (1.27%) while 289,000 (1.70%) watched The Wedding Crashers on Film 4. Sky One earned 256,000 (1.25%) for Project Catwalk.
Following Steptoe at 10.05pm, and also attracting a strong following of 813,000 (4.60%), was the first ever Steptoe and Son episode. Other dramas in the 'Curse' season will cover Hughie Green, Frankie Howerd and Tony Hancock. |
Thought it was ok - very well acted by Jason Isaacs & Phil Davis. Hard to imagine Harry H Corbett was considered 'Britain's Marlon Brando' before he did Steptoe.

I`m astonished at those numbers - I assumed it would be quite a tough sell.
