One of the most intense hours of television that I've seen in some time.

There's a rumour going around the Jericho boards that the show may, repeat may, be picked up for a third season. How true this is I don't know, but apparently, someone's deciphered the morse code bit at the beginning of the credits for 2x05 and it translates as "We're back. Again". Don't know how accurate or true that is, but that's the rumour doing the rounds. What we do know for sure though is that CBS have NOT, as yet, requested that the 'series' finale ending be prepared. There's only 2 episodes left so they're going to have to make a decision either way, pretty sharpish.

Fingers crossed. After this episode, now, moreso than ever, I'll be gutted if it's cancelled again.

Ratings were poor again. Maybe if there's a deal like the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS deal, CBS might overlook that. However, even with a deal like that, a new successful show is often a more profitable choice.

CBS have already sold the re-run rights to Sci-Fi, and I believe it scores very well on iTunes downloads as well.

It's obviously a close call, otherwise, given the ratings, I think it would have gone by now. The numbers for the first five episodes have been poor by CBS' usual standards.
