Episode 6/24 The Other Woman
An unwelcome visitor orders Juliet to track down Charlotte and Faraday - and use any means necessary to prevent them from completing their mission. Flashbacks reveals more about Ben's feelings for Juliet, while in the present Ben gains Locke's trust by sharing some secrets. |
Thought it was an ok episode the most interesting thing being that Penny's father appears to be ( I say appears because it was of course Ben who told us ) behind the team on the freighter. :ponder:
Well he did buy the logbook for the "Blackrock" for a huge amount of money and we keep coming across a nautical theme with him - the model ship in his office, his company sponsoring the boat race - what exactly does his company do?
I really have suspicions that he was Sayeed's target.
Interesting flashbacks and I would really like to know the real reason behind the gas - they knew where to find it - more Dharma knowledge - how to disable it (allegedly) but was it really to prevent Ben from using it.
We know he has used it before so it could be as a precaution but is there more to it?
Not as previous episodes, but still an ok episode. I think they spent too much time on the Juliet flashbacks, it wasn't hard to tell Ben likes Juliet, we didn't need a whole episode to tell us that.
I'm thinking the real reason behind the gas is as a protective measure for the island, but then why would Dharma create a station for this, unless this is not it's original function, and Ben, Goodwin or any of the others changed it.
What's still bugging me about this episode is why did Charlotte have to knock Kate out? If they were going to the station to save them, why not share this with Kate. Also if what they were doing was worthy of knocking Kate out, why would Jack just take their word for it, cos i thought he was suspicious enough of them already. Unless he knew Kate would check it out and he didn't want to show that he doesn't trust them.
