Spoilers for ep.1 ..... :)
I thought this took a while to get going ; it seemed to me that it took an hour to set things up before it really got going. It`s one of those shows where they have a bunch of excellent actors and you decide to keep watching because of them. :)
I`m intrigued enough to keep watching , though it`s difficult not to compare these sorts of shows with the excellent Edge of Darkness.
The brother really being alive added an interesting twist; I`m guessing that it was Geraldine James` character who tried to bump him off originally ?
Not sure about Benedict Cumberbatch being an action hero type, and I note that his bare botty made an appearance - all those BBC costume shortages.
I agree it took a while to get going but apart from the brother and widow jumping into bed with each other after knowing each other about 5 minutes  I quite enjoyed it and I actually thought it made a nice change to have a rather nerdy guy as the hero rather than some all action type.
Ep 2........
Oooh, now it looks like Robert Carlyle - who actually had some lines in this ep :o - might not be the baddie afterall.
It seems to have picked up the pace a bit. Or maybe all the setting up of the series is out of the way.
