Don't know if anyone else has heard of the sequal yet. Not exactly new news, but it was announced last April that HBO, Spielberg and Hanks will be producing a sequal series to Band of Brothers. It'll be filmed in Australia with a release date sometime in 2009.

The title for the sequal pretty much reflects the theatre of conflict covered by the mini series, it's called The Pacific.

I'd heard about a sequal a while ago but could never find much information. Probably because I was looking for something related to 'Band of Brothers' rather than the newly-named 'The Pacific'. :rolleyes:

If this is even half as good as the original I'll be thrilled!
