Have to admit, if I were a huge HP fan, the whole Beedle the Bard situation would piss me off. It's a bit of a slap in the face to those that have patiently followed the series and picked up the merchandise.
"Yeah, I've written another book, but, you'll never get to see it."

Hmm, maybe she`ll be forced to publish it rather than disappoint the tearful kiddies. And grown-ups. :ph43r:

Well... it is a bit upsetting. But at least it's been bought by amazon who are gonna actually show pictures of it and review the stories and supposedly take it on a library tour so people can see it, rather than a private buyer. I was so excited when I saw it this morning on amazon. And I guess it's going to charity, so you can't really complain. Mind you, thinking about it, if she'd released it as a printed book for a tenner each or something, it probably would've raised way more for charity. Oh well. I'm just gonna patiently wait for the Harry Potter encyclopedia which JKR promised to be released, that'll be really cool...
I tried to get my uber-rich godmother who loves nothing more than spoiling me rotten to bid for it, but I think even she'd consider £2million a little excessive for a christmas present!

 Think amazon would be a little annoyed if she publishes it after spending so much money on it!

Surely, taking pictures of it, is teasing potential readers even more though! The evil bastards!

Surely you`re not saying that *gasp* Amazon has some sort of ulterior motive going on ?

Can't decide whether to go for the £4 standard edition or £50 special edition....
*edit* Ok, I just went and ordered the special edition, couldn't resist  Hopefully I can get someone to pay for it as a Christmas present...
