Title: 2.08
Description: Four Months Ago

This episode rose above my plummeting expectations.
It had one intriguing storyline, at least. It explained Peter and Nathan's stories really well. And it finally utilized Kristen Bell -- altho her role seemed almost an afterthought ("Hey! We can get Kristen Bell. Hmmm. Where can we fit her in?") rather than vital. But who's complaining?
As before, Niki's story hardly seems related to the rest of the Heroes and because it focuses on her family trauma, I find it far less interesting. What should be a great tragedy comes as a relief.
The Hondurans origins do nothing to change my mind about that pathetic storyline.

This is the episode they should have aired the second week of the season. It was what the fans who managed to wade through the long hiatus and down down of last season deserved. It is a shame that this show will probably disappear unless this strike come to an end, like today! I don't really care about the new people on the show, maybe I would if I was given an entire season to get used to them, but for now I do care about the original cast and Tim Kring waited to long to get to this episode. Tim Kring himself agrees with me and the rest of the fans, only trouble is now that he is striking against his own show this could potentially be it for Heroes for this season. Read about that
here...Anyway that was a great episode, sad to say there will likely be only 3 more and that's it.

But at least the season finale will be the end of Volume 2 as opposed to ending halfway through a story :)
Finally the series is back on track - it's just a shame it took 6 weeks to get there. Hopefully now Kring knows there have been flaws this season he can take advantage of the extra time from the strike to make sure Season 3 doesn't suffer in the same way.

Great to see what happened to Nathan and Peter. Probably would have been better if we had seen that from the beginning.

heroes is back to form with this episode  , too bad it took so long for that :ermm:
finally we learn the events of the missing months: alejandro and maya reason to run, how peter ended in Ireland and what happened to nathan, niki and DL. this is a great episode and it explain how peter met adam and how they are going to "save the world".

I tend to agree with whats already been said we shouldn't of had to wait this long to see what happened after the S1 finale.
I suspose with Kensei / Adam turning up in the present day there was at least some point to Hiro's storyline. Probably.
Can't quite get over my disappointment that Kirsten Bell is a baddie :( and it's very strange seeing her playing a bad girl ... but quite fun as well. :whistling:

I must admit, that after season one, I've been a touch disappointed with season two so far. Having said that, I've still enjoyed it immensely.
I thought the Hiro storyline dragged on too long, though I liked the idea that he was Kensei, or at least the inspiration behind him. It's just that it was one good idea that was spun out too long.
Otherwise there are no real complaints from me, apart from Caitlins grating Oirish accent. (This is where someone tells me she really is from Cork of course! :) )

Well funnily enough ... ;) no she's not but she is British so you'd think she would know better.

I loved her accent! If it's not authentic, it should be.

I just wasn`t wild about this episode ; I think all the info came too late in the season for me. :)
Can someone please bump off the Honduran characters ? Soon ? :ph43r:
