A better than average BONES weighed down by a bit of silliness between Booth and Bones.
This eppy plays with the memories of many of the shows viewers as the murder was set in the late 80s. It includes flashbacks, a la COLD CASE, with dated clothes and hairstyles.
I could've done without Booth trying to summon up a humuliating memory. I don't think I've ever seen that gimmick work on any show. I doubt that it works very often in real-life either.
But the mystery makes up for it. This time, like a good whodunnit, it had a plethora of plausible suspects. But this was special in how the backstory fit together. Very cool. And, I like it when Temperance's training gives her the subtle bit of knowledge to solve the mystery.

Thanks John - shall delete the other one. You get one house point for noticing the deliberate mistake. :whistling:
A so-so ep. I had the guy pegged the first time they talked to him, and I would think Booth being an FBI agent would do a little more to clear the guy first instead of using him for leads to run the rest of the investigation, but still it was relatively enjoyable.
