Discuss. :)

WOW! Seldom has CRIMINAL MINDS been this good.
While I've often railed about the futility in putting cast members in peril, this time, making Penelope Garcia the victim worked. In part, because of the rumors of Kirsten Vangsness' departure from the show. And because she is simply a fabulous actress. Her frightened and vulnerable turn was both aching and endearing. Somebody, give her an award.
Shemar Moore doesn't come close to matching her acting skill but they have great chemistry and she made him better than usual.
Nick Brendan isn't in her league either, but he's a good actor and he provided what his minor role allowed. But it was sad to see the once Speedo-briefed body in the shape it is now. But, it pays off in the end.
And sad to say, they once again went for the obvious action-oriented ending -- but that paid off big too.
I missed the pre-credit portion yet I could easily follow the story. It unfolded in as dramatic a way possible, building tension, and moving at a fast pace. What made this really special was the emotional depth.
To my mind -- pretty near flawless.

I wonder if maybe we'll get to see him on the show once in awhile that would be fun. Haven't hardly seen him at all since Buffy.
Totally agree with everything you said above, really can't think of anything to add.

Forgot to give Bailey Chase proper credit as Penelope's dangerous new boyfriend. He was perfect for the role.

Superb episode, best I`d seen for ages !
Loved the moment at the end when Penelope meets her `Hero` and great to see Nick Brendan again. :)
I agree, Kirsten Vangsness was great in the part ; I loved the way she was clutching the gun in her apartment.
Good storyline ; I thought it was clever the way you gradually found out about the Baddie and the ending was terrific - I expected JJ to be hiding in her office and it was a shock to see her kill the man who tried to kill Penelope. :)

I was only half watching this and didn't recognise Nick Brendan at first it was only as I turned away from the screen and heard him speak I thought ' hey I know that voice'.
I suspose we'd of needed Garcia to die to see him again.
Good episode although Criminal Minds is one of those show which I think works best as a straight procedural show I don't really want to know about their personal lives however in this case it was nice to know a little about Garcia's slighty shady past. :)

I like seeing the cast outside of work; I think it`s nice to get an occasional glimpse. :)
