| John Francis Daley joins cast of 'Bones' digitalspy.co.uk Wednesday, October 31 2007, 13:14 GMT (08:14 ET) By Beth Hilton Freaks and Geeks star John Francis Daley has joined the cast of hit Fox drama Bones. He will play series regular Dr. Lance Sweets, an FBI-appointed therapist assigned to work with Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). Daley has previously starred in The Geena Davis Show, Boston Public and Kitchen Confidential, as well as the upcoming film 5-25-77. The show's creator Hart Hanson said: "He is terrifically funny and very appealing while projecting intelligence, which injects his scenes with all our actors, especially Emily and David, with a kind of rollicking energy that is a real bonus and he fits in perfectly with the cattywonkers tone of our show." Hanson recently signed to stay with Fox for a further three years. |
