A episode as inspired as the episode title.
I won't need to watch last year's reruns. I'm getting it here. Missing paintings. Mohinder's haplessness. Popping up in Times Square (or a similar intersection). NYC destroyed (well, abandoned). Claire as cheerleader and as victim of blonde diva. Sylar's lastest suckers. The mysterious agenda of the Company. Niki/Jessica's sneer.
Boy, am I getting tired of the Hiro/Kensei story. It reached heights of ludicriousness this time. What a feeble battle! Not to mention the kissing -- an unlikely act in the 1600s -- an act that is still awkward for Asians (Zhang Ziyi was reprimanded by Ang Lee while making CROUCHING TIGER for her lack of skill).
The Honduran story had its one bright moment so far -- at the border. Otherwise, they replayed the same scene over and over and over and over between the brother and sister. That's lazy writing.
After I thinking the Kensei story was as silly as it can get -- then Claire and West pull the most illogical stunt ever.
Peter gets out of Ireland an goes to beautiful Montreal and it's all studio-bound and anti-climactic.
The O-N-L-Y part I liked was HRG confronting his Russian mentor. While it occured entirely in the one apartment, it vibrated with tension -- thanks in large part to the terrific actors (I wish I could remember the Russian actor's name).
On the bright side: it can only get better.

Quite.
For the first time I'm worried about the series - I can understand a few episodes to get back in the flow (plus given the acclaim for Series 1 they have a lot to work up to), but after 6 episodes I expect more than this by now.
You wonder just how many people were rooting for Hiro come back to the present (now they've teased us several times with it), only for it to be dragged out even further.
And the sooner Sylar rips open the heads of the Honduran kids the better. Shame we know it'll be dragged out for far too long as they traverse America to New York, then spend an episode looking for Suresh only to find him at the company, and so on.
So how long have we got until the Christmas break? IIRC that was when the 'Generations' story was supposed to end, so hopefully they'll be working to something good soon...

As you say the most interesting story was Noah's venture into Russia. Let us hope that we get more from Peter in Montreal next time :ermm:

I also liked the fact that 3 foreign languages with subtitles were used. To a movie buff like me who watches a lot of subtitled movies, this is no problem. But, when the story is good enuf, even the most insular American learns to tolerate it.
