The team in general has put away Gideon's baffling departure (no doubt mirroring the effects of the real-life deaparture of Mandy), tho the effects vary by individual.

This is one of those times that I resent the revelation of the killer and his tactics in parallel with the BAU's investigation. It felt like they gave away too much. The investigators' discoveries seemed cheapened. And, then, worse of all, they had the usual against-the-clock rescue.

Not the best because it was all too familiar.

I don't know about that he said that he wanted to go back to work on Broadway maybe he just didn't like the hectic work schedule of TV. I do agree with you though about them giving away to much even my wife said 10 minutes into the show (god bless her!) "he's killing them with their fears!" And that doesn't happen very often. I like the addition of Joe though we'll see how it affects the ratings.
