I really wanted to come on here and gush, but as I am the first poster I'll wait till a couple of you guys have seen it :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Except I can't help myself. WOW!!!! What a hell of a start to season 2 :o

Actually, it didn't wow me that much. It was excellent stuff, but felt more like setting things up, and as a result I came away a bit underwhelmed. The whole Hiro story in particular feels a bit poor - we've seen the 'guy meets his hero and turns out to be nothing like he's been lead to believe' many times.

Still, an average episode of Heroes stands head and shoulders above a lot more current drama :thumbsup:

I like the parts about the characters I like best: the cheerleader's story and the cop with the little girl, in particular. The little girl is a superb actress and Greg works well with her.

Hiro's story was a big disappointment. The reveal didn't excite me (plus, it depended on Hiro being struck deaf or stupid). And California just doesn't make a good substitute for Japan.

Could the Hondurans story be less original and compelling? That better payoff big.

Bit of a reset but I enjoyed Claire and Noah not fitting in at all, maybe he will let her help? :lol: @ the copy world Manager

not a bad start, hiro plot is the weakest one unless it improve or change direction in the next episode.

I had made my mind up before watching it that I wasn't going to like it and, as a result, ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would :lol:

The one thing I didn't like was Maya and her brother. I get the impression that particular thread is going to be a bit tedious.

Other than that, all quite enjoyable :)

I enjoyed this, and I expected not to, from all the rumblings about S2 being weak. Ditto to all the Maya + brother comments - I`m just not interested. And how did Hiro go from best character to meh ? :shrug:

Not sure about the reset ; How did Greg G`s character get divorced in just 4 months ? And Nathan too ? :unsure:

Liked the Claire storyline, and I`m intrigued by flying boy. :)

Well obviously there is a hero we haven't met yet who has the power to fast track legal proceedings. ;)

Slow start for me but it is the first one.

Regarding Nathan's beard do you think they just took all the hair they got from cutting off Peter's fringe and stuck it to Nathan's face. :shrug: ;)
