An excellent start to the season. I felt sorry for George being placed in Meredith's group. Christina had me in stitches trying to be the new Bailey. Izzie deciding to help the deer was sweet even if her interns didn't approve, I liked how she turned their conversation about her around onto them.
This episode was very much like the pilot with the now residents telling their interns the same speech Bailey gave to them when they started.
And who would have guessed Meredith and Shepard would end up in "the room" together...
I gave that Private Practice a go but it bored me rather quickly and I lost interest.
Ratings were pretty good for both in their season openers.
GREY'S took third place in the week's ratings with almost 21 million viewers (its competitor CSI still beat it out with a whopping 25.2 million).
PRIVATE PRACTICE took 10th place for the week with 14.4 million. But I heard it lost viewers during its showing.
