Thanks for the link :thumbsup:

How very INTERESTING how much space he gives to discussing Wesley's death: what a good idea under the circumstances/ how it actually wasn't his idea at all/ how, in fact, he wouldn't have done it at all if....

And how intriguing that the words: 'dumb', 'mistake', 'insult', 'audience's and 'intelligence' aren't there at all. I Have My Views, and this looks like preemptive squirming to me (what with Ripper back from the brink and all....)

<demented cackle>

:p

Unlike Buffy I have not watched Angel very much so I am not sure whether to agree with the demented cackle.

The very memorable Not Fade Away did seem totally appropriate to the general Angel message that life is not easy and a continuous battle.

This is stirring my post Wetherspoons juices about whether we will eventually need an Angel rewatch. sk

it seem joss has a thing against SMG (or is it me reading too much when he comment about SMG and the possibility of buffy coming back on TV)

iirc, joss had to please the money people to have season five (bring blondie bear :ermm: , make more solo episodes,.....), now killing one of the regular because the show is ending is not really their choice but there was no way joss could predict that a follow up by comic was going to happen ................... or could he? :unsure: :ponder:

I'd be up for it. Admittedly, then, the end of series 5 would still be quite some way away, but it would create a deadline of sorts to mention casually to my oldest friend: the one who sat out the later stages of her pregnancy with the later box sets of both shows and has STILL NOT YET handed back s.5 Angel, even as a straight trade off for her daughter's second birthday present (a very handsome Thomas the Tank Engine, if I say so myself.)

Mmmm, Wetherspoons.....
