Yep, they've finally announced the HD DVD release of the original series.

It's a release of the newly remastered version/cleaned up version of the episodes, so I suppose that technically, they can get away with calling it a new release, but they are starting to annoy me in a very Lucas kind of way.

But I'm sure every trek fan in the US will buy it on the day of release, I however will wait for it to be in the HMV sale :lol: As they always are about 2 months after release :lol: :lol:
