Anyone else feel this one was really heartfelt, the BB/reality show references and the world living in the now :( all quite sad, hurray for the surge of interest in books at the end.
I always prefer the bookworld to the real one and the ending being stuck in a moral dilemma to travelling through poetry with a very emotional cabbie  was worth the build up.
I was most disturbed by Friday's fate :fear: even though he started as a dreary teen  and was quite suspicious of Jenny early on. Mycroft's ghost was quite moving, I wonder if Thursday's father is going to have quite a large role in the next, no pun intended.
So Aornis is potentially free now, and has Hades been recreated?
:lmao: @ bald Pickwick with the knitted jumper  plock

I started off thinking hmmm at this one - a 52 year old Thursday ?
Didn`t see a lot of the shocks coming ; the Jenny being a mindworm was pretty upsetting. :tear:
And Thursday being `trapped` in the real world, when she didn`t have her book jumping book ! :o
Ditto to the Bookworld/ real world bit, Alex - I thought the book really came alive when Thursday was in Bookworld - loved the different Thursdays, thought it was hugely inventive.
Yay to Pickwick in her jumper, jumping up and down in front of the mirror. :lmao:
I`m itching to find out who was driving the black Ford near the end ; I wonder if it`ll be revealed in the next ( and final  ) Nursery Crimes book. :ponder:
Would love the next Next book to explore the different libraries - I`m keeping my fingers crossed that there`ll be a French Bookworld version of Thursday. :)
And yes, loved the shorter Now thing ( and I think it`s true for some people, too ! )
Plock. ;)

 I was so happy that Thursday 5 finally came into her own at the end   I'm not so sure about Thursday 1 - 4 taking that option.
The Goliath double cross had me completely fooled - should have known better than to trust them.
Final NCD book ... :tear:
