Harry Saxon becomes Prime Minister, and he faces off with the Doctor.
What are Saxon's dark ambitions? |

Just wonderful ... I don't want the season to end now!
The relationship between the Master and the Doctor as the sole remaining timelords was portrayed brilliantly by both actors and I'd love to see it carry on throughout the next season

Outstanding!
John Simm just absolutely nailed it, and worked wonderfully well bouncing off of the Doctor. Can't wait to see how this one ends up next week
Take that 'Uncle Sam', you twat!

Ignoring the dodgy dance music... :p
What a great episode! I loved when the Doctor was describing what effect the keys have he compared them to fancying someone who doesn't notice and Jack turned to Martha and said "you too huh."
I am intrigued to see what Martha is going to do now she has teleported away from the Master.

:o  really good, great cliffanger, how the doctor going to get out of that one?
martha look when the doctor talk about the keys way of working ........... jack noticing and going "you too, uh?" (something you want to tell us jack  or just an other memory of rose  )
the doctor about jack working with torchwood <_< (smart explaination about why torchwood cardiff not gonna show in doctor who  )
:lmao: US vs UK TV way of presenting the all thing
nice shot of the time lords world and the master childhood
the phone discussion between the doctor and the master was brilliant
the valiant (where did nick fury go? )

Sod Nick Fury, where was Captain Scarlet?
Actually Captain Scarlet <=> Captain Jack :ponder:
prophecy girl - June 24, 2007 05:30 PM (GMT)
:o :snooty: :lmao:
just wonder why jack didn't leave with martha, the master was mostly interested by the doctor (apart that he seem to have way too much fun about the fact that he could kill jack again and again)
I wonder what he mean "if i tell you all about my little friends, your heart would break" ................. so something to do with the time lords or the daleks (maybe not because they wouldn't have these annoying voices  ) :ponder:
also i don't think the master knew about jack time watch  (seem painful to use it :ermm: ) so how did he know he had to prepare for the doctor return  (he had the tardis)

Brilliant. John Simm is just fantastic as The Master and in a way I'm actually rooting for him because he's so watchable .

I kept giggling when everyone had to put their hands on Jack`s teleport thingy - it seemed so Tomorrow People or Power Rangers or something .

Heresy <_< <_<
Power Rangers indeed :snooty:
Loved it.
I myself made the Captain Scarlet comment. The Angels would have the Troclafaine  And then the whole Captain Jack/Scarlet indistructible man thing.
The scenes with Gallifrey had me wondering, would they really have had the mill do all that lovely work and made those lovely costumes for just a flashback??? :ponder:

Cracking performance from John Simm  he was fantastic and that has to be the greatest cheesy grin ever, so good in fact I suspect it must be CGI enhanced. ;)
Loved Jack's 'You too huh' to Martha as well. :)

Just in case nobody knows who the wonder twins are (you lucky people) here is an updated adventure. But you'll get the idea.
Form of Crap

:o i forgot about them  :lmao: that was bad
grrrarrrgh - June 28, 2007 12:48 PM (GMT)
Thanks to the joyous mix of work, 5 year olds and a six month old puppy, I've only just got round to watching this today! It was worth the wait tho.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I  John Simm - I dont think he will ever make a bad TV decision in his life - the roles he plays are so varied in character and he pulls them off so well (Altho, I did keep thinking of them being off their heads on E in Human Traffic when he was doing the happy face/sad face thing :lmao: )
It would be great if JS did carry on into next season but I cant see it - he's not the sort of actor to risk getting typecast.
Even Martha has grown on me now - she was brilliant in this ep.
More references to Torchwood - great stuff!!
You do find yourself routing for the master a bit - especially in the anti0american thing. No offence to TV Yank, but that is just what the USA president would do, should it really happen (Alien invasion, not John simm taking over the world! although........
 )
roll on Saturday - although its the last one
