Anyone watching this on FX ?

I've only seen the first episode so far but it was a pretty good opening. :)

Nice twist to have Darwin end up leader of the new cell but how insensitive was Darwin's boss, couldn't he just of told him what happened to his handler rather than directing to the website showing her execution ! :o :(

I agree that the premiere was pretty good. I wasn't expecting Patrice's death and certainly not in such an extreme manner :o After losing his last handler in much the same way (throat slit) you can see why it was so terrible for him to watch :tear:

It was a pretty good twist for Darwen to find himself suddenly leader of the cell instead of constantly having to be on his toes hoping not to be discovered. Although Mina is looking a tad suspicious now after seeing him talking to Gayle :ermm:

And purely on a shallow note, can I just say yay to Kevin Alejandro joining the cast :drool: :thumbsup: :wub:

Don't think much of Darwin's new handler :rolleyes: at this point I'd be quite happy to see him get the same treatment as his predecessor's. :lol: Not sure how realistic it was for thingy ( forgotton his name :rolleyes: :blush: ) to get broken out of custody but I guess he's too juicy a character to leave behind bars.

Darwen's new handler only got the job cos he had an uncle in high places iirc :unsure: Took me ages to figure out he was the guy from Surface :rolleyes: Hopefully, he'll redeem himself at some point.

And is it wrong for me to be rooting for Ilya (sp) to get to Canada safely? :unsure:

Yes very wrong :o but then I find myself rooting for T-Bag in Prison Break which is even more wrong. :ph43r: :lol:

:o Yes, your's is even more wrong :snooty: However, having watched the second episode and seen Ilya kill his girlfriend :blink: I'm inclined to change my mind. Wtf was that about? :shrug: He can't have planned to kill her all along else what was the point of taking her with him? :shrug: Was it because he found out that he was going to have to stay and take part in another terror campaign? :shrug:

I suppose he knew all along that that would have to happen. I would guess he brought her along for two reasons, firstly because he didn't want to leave her behind and secondly the authorities wouldn't be looking for him and a girl just him. He killed her when he did because he was informed to tie up all the loose ends. He couldn't take a chance that she compromised him after he left.

Oh yes I'm watching Sleeper Cell on FX as well! :) Good stuff so far.

As for what's his name( Farid???) getting broken out of custody. I would think it's a lot more realistic getting broken out of a Saudi facility than it would be a US one. To be honest we didn't really see how secure the facility was. I do suspect that the news report was faked and he survived though. How brutal were those torture methods! Had me squirming in my seat particularly the Red Hot Metal Up the urethra. :fear:

Just watched the final three episodes and a cracking end to the season it was. :thumbsup:

Surprised but impressed that they killed poor Gail off. :tear:

Aaarrrrrrrrrrgggghhhhhhh, I missed about the last 5 episodes cos my stupid Sky+ was playing up and wouldn't record any of it :tear: I knew Gayle died but I don't know why or how and I'm reluctant to spoil in case it's repeated and I can catch it again.

Your not having much luck with your Sky+ are you ? :(

I'm sure FX will repeat it and the first season turned up on C4 as well.
