Professor Lazarus demonstrates the Hypersonic Soundwave Generator inside the Welsh Assembly Building, but not all is as it seems...

This was an ok episode, and finally Martha is inducted in the sidekick hall of fame. Who is this Saxon guy? Have I read about him on here somewhere? The name seems familiar.

And the teaser at the end "coming up" it was Jack Harkness! yay!

Reminded me a bit of The Fly :ponder:

You may have read of Mr Saxon on here before, in the capacity of a casting spoiler. There was a very lingering shot of him, just at the end of the trailer last night ;)

I liked this episode, the "creature" was really well realised, the Mill outdid themselves again

Mark Gatiss was brilliant in the role of Lazarus, and despite the chills, they still had time for the humour.

"Peek-a-boo!"

"Oh, Hello."

I would love to know (and we'll probably find out) what Mr Saxon's henchman told Martha's mother.

And another classic slap, no wonder he doesn't like things to get domestic

i guess we will learn more about harold saxon but he seem to know a few things about the doctor

martha's mother slapping the doctor ( he really need to get someone without family :lmao: ) and the running joke of the champagne glass throw at her again and again (or is it just me?) but i kinda like the introduction talk ("so what have you been doing with my daughter?" "well you know stuff" "stuff? right!"

again with the DNA change  , plus the doctor discussing about living forever :ermm:

scary monster (good special effect), loved the "pickaboo"

martha upset about it was a one trip kind of thing but making the doctor accepting her as his new assistant/companion

a funny episode (even if scary and kinda sad in place)

 to next episodes trailer  jack

Much better than last weeks imo though still not great. Martha's family didn't annoy me as much as they did in 3x01 and I liked the reference back to AOL and Jackie slapping the Doctor .

And the trailer at the end *squee*

<< Adopts squee as favourite new word >>

I thought that trailer was the most exciting thing on Dr Who so far this year. :ponder:

Caught a bit of David Tennant and they showed a clip from the trailer ep. :yahoo:

Squee is a great word

I, at first, thought it was a trailer for the next episode so was caught between going "Jack!" and going "huh, isn't he meant to be in the last three episodes".

Anyone who dares say squee in front of me gets a slap :)

One of the worst things to happen to fandom, if you ask me...

It's telling me my message is too short? What's that about?

:ponder: your post must have a minimum of 20 letters (or something like that) to go through

I've seen squee used far too much on other Doctor Who message boards and it gives a horrible image of people watching the series solely because 'xyz is so cute' :)

I promise I'm not that shallow, I just get overexcited when my favourite characters come back . I left the beeb boards because of the whole "Spike iz fit" stuff over there.

Well that's alright.

Just as long as there's no 'Captain Jack wore a cute shirt! Squeeeeeeee!' :)
